I loss my son 8 months ago, he was innocent the Detective told me but the Lord showed it to my other son in a dream we prayed constantly for three months straight but he wasn't careful about the company he kept, the Lord prepared me, I am continuing my journey with the Lord because His will is what's best for me

I’m 39 years old and I remember when Hurricane Katrina came to hit New Orleans I was 20. We evacuated to Memphis but we took a nap at a rest stop. I woke up to this song playing and right there I knew God was gonna take care of us. 🙏🏽💯 This song helped me in a major way.

I love this song, and got mad love for my brother in Christ Pastor Darius Brooks. This brother took the time out of his busy schedule to come to my licensing into the ministry and play the organ for me when I preached my very first sermon, over 20 years ago!!! I still think about the advice he gave me; "Roll Your Sleeves Up!!! It's time to go to work"!!!! I thank God for this brother!!! Be Blessed My brother!!!

I was thinking the same thing! You mean nobody out there had that experience of Yahweh not giving them what they prayed and begged for? When I first heard this song I was in tears. I would have been standing up on a chair if I was in that audience. I used to get on my knees and beg and pray and read the Bible all the while crickets from the Almighty. I used to see people getting what I asked for and they were blatantly not living a Godly life. It hurt so bad and did not understand. Twenty years later I still don’t understand except to say it must not have been Yahweh’s will? But I still love the LORD and I serve Him not because of what He can do for me but because He is our Creator and deserves my worship and praise!

Minister Darius Brooks can sang! This was the song that introduced him and the Thompson Community Choir to me. This song helped straighten me out as I was dying to male companionship and the potential of sexual immoralities, etc. I was very lonely. I am still very lonely in my personal life, as a saved Woman of God. However? This song dealt with me, powerfully!!! I can withstand the solitary lifestyle and love Jesus. I am just grateful. I'm just glad to be saved and alive and walking, talking and preparing to work for the Kingdom of God. I thank God for Brother Darius Brooks, a very kind man. God bless you, sir!!! I first heard this song in my second year in the University. This is over fifteen years ago. I truly believe this song was sang only for me that day the choir ministered it. Today, I am no longer in Church but I remain connected to this song. What I do is replace everywhere he says 'God' and, 'Lord' with YAH. Glory to Yahuah Elohim for delivering me from darkness into light.
The first time I heard this song, some years ago, it was performed by a choir on their anniversary program and I could hardly contain myself! It so moved me! I woudn't say Darius is understated or underappreciated, he has been all over the world, and have sang and played in the most prestigious places and for some of the most renowned people. Just because the Black Community does not give him his due, does not mean he's underappreciated, that's black people for you...he has been in the music community blessing people by way of composition and teaching waaaaaaay before The Tommies....
