The flower is Rhododendron also know as Buransh or gurash!! It is used to make Rhododendron juice,tea,chutney and wine in Western and eastern Himalayan Regions of India!! I myself had tried Rhododendron juice in Uttarakhand and i quite liked it!! The juice was tasty and Local people were telling me that it is good for heart as well!! 😋

The one you showed we call it Iskush(squash)..It's one of the best veg grown in hilly regions..During its season it's sold at a very good rate..but like after dusherra its prices get dropped...we can even eat its root which is very popular and even the roots are sold at a very good rate..🙂

Love your vlogs...the name of the flower is Rhododendron...it is found in West Sikkim famously known as Barsey Rhododendron sanctuary. If you visit sikkim do try the guras wine.
