I will admit: Dark Academia has always been hit or miss for me. I want to keep trying to find a good book so this video is so helpful! Thank you so much for posting this!
All of Us Villains by Amanda Foody and Christine Lynn Herman could probably fit this theme too :) I also just bought The Secret History by Donna Tartt, can't wait to read that one.
I am on a dark academia binge right now so this video is extremely surreptitious. Finished Ninth House yesterday, started Atlas Six today, am planning on teading Babel next :))
I got Babel from my local library TODAY!!! I was like 49 in the queue and the kind library assistant saw that there was a copy that someone had not picked up on time and gave it to me. The most wholesome interaction 🥰 I never read fantasy but love Dark Academia, I cannot wait to get started!
I finished reading Babel last night and really loved the way R. F. Kuang approached the relationship between Ramy and Robin with regards to its portrayal for the reader across the entirety of the book. Her very slim focus on this and when she decided to give the reader a closer look at it felt really special to me.
Intriguing, I always knew there was more to life and i have also been looking for a way to find not only protection but a way to be influential to the human society, wish to do more and give more than i am doing now, always feel like i was born for something greater. .
oh well you can achieve all that and even more by being a part of the illuminatus brotherhood, i know it sounds like a mystery but there are ways you can actually get in contact with them.
Im just curious as to whether she specifically chooses books with female protagonists because she can relate to them or if she chooses good books and they all happen to be women?
Great academic jacket. Does it have leather elbow patches? I'll make only one grumpy comment. Babel, great though it is in many ways, would be better if it had characters rather than pieces moved around to support themes.
Hi ! I want to share with you about one book: "KAYAN KOLLYN- The spiral of the Ellmott & messenger of the secret." a great fiction of adventure, mystery, ART, an ancient CRAFFARTT, and science. once you read it, you definitely love it, because it speaks about all dimensions of life, without the barrier of the beliefs and social divisions. Love your content!😊 Waiting for your review ❤❤❤❤
I'm a bit out of the loop book wise because I spent the last 2 years studying. Haven't had much time for reading for pleasure... so does anyone know if we'll ever get the sequel to Ninth House?? I loved that book and I really need to know what happens
Ok but why did you have to mispronounce academia like macadamia?! 😆 It’s aca-dee-mia. We don’t say acaday-mic, lol. So many people pronouncing it wrong just grates on my ears.
