okay but if you like dark academia, Regensburg in Germany is a beautiful town with medieval, gothic and baroque architecture, as well as some of the oldest taverns in Germany and a large number of bookshops. My mom lives there and I used to go there for the holidays, but I couldn't this year unfortunately.

Not me going to shift to a dark academia academy that's in a castle and having a seasonal ball and magical *everything* and being friends with ravens and crows.

I was so fortunate to actually be able to go to Edinburgh last year, it was such a pretty city, rich with history, aesthetic, and overall really cool and immaculate vibes god I really miss being able to travel :((

Dark academia opened my eyes to a world I never thought existed. I've always loved the style of clothes, the hobbies, the music and the whole aesthetic but I never found the name of it or even the combination of these things. I am truly blessed by dark academia as it brings me a way to express myself. I have a academia/vintage/cottagecore stationery kit on my Etsy linked on my yt channel that was truly inspired by dark academia.
