Love ancient egypt I read that sekhmet was the cat goddess in her wild form the body of a woman with the head of a lioness and when she was in a rage she had a need for blood but could be sated with worship or spells or sacrifices or calm music.her more gentle form was that of a domestic cat where she was called either Bast or Bastet that version of her was a protector and a guardian and mother and as your title says she was also a healer.she was also know as one of the guardians of the underworld she had a whole city named after her and was worshipped all over egypt.Thank you making this site she was one of my favourite ancient Egyptian gods along with Isis Osiris Horus Anubis among others

This is wonderful! I put these up on the big living room tv when I work at the dining room table or am just reading a book, and I often put up ambience videos when company comes over. Well, Im a school teacher, and Usually listen to Sekhmet ambiance stuff like this in the mornings. A few early arrivals end up hearing it too for about 10 minutes before I switch onto 'teacher' mode. I asked one of the early risers, just a couple of weeks ago, if I should play some music - she said "No", and I asked why. She said that my music scares Her a little! So Sekhmet is not for her yet!
