@@dylancrosby2451as a casual player, i never keep track of each classes health pool, so i dont run unless im trying to space them out (usually because im slower). i usually kill barbs as rapier rogue, one of the few classes i have leveled currently. of course, i still die often but having no fear in solos gets you a lot kills.

if you want to linger your weapon, you need to drag your mouse back in the opposite direction of your swing. also, just less action speed makes it slower.

he makes it look that easy. maybe because he's a top 5 barb player lol.

His movespeed is usually pretty high but he caught the Bard because he kept pulling out instruments and pathed badly. Towards the end of the clip you see the Bard put away his instruments and start zooming, but he ran too deep into the corner and Pete cut him off.

When you apply Achilles strike with BE active each step counts as an instance of damage so that can be as much as a 50% heal pretty fast.

Why just stab them

he probably hit them while he had achilles heel active since once you slow them down if they move they take 1 dmg for 2 seconds and the move dmg counts towards blood exchange resulting in multiple ticks of healing

You used to be able to throw the torch with Achilles

Barb is meta melee right now lol tf you mean. The last two patches have absolutely put barb ahead of fighter and it’s fine against cleric. Zwei is also just a mid weapon. Calling it the worst weapon in the game is ridiculous 💀(not to take away from Pete, he’s an amazing player, you just don’t know what you’re talking about)

@@garagejesusFighter is definitely better than Barb in melee at high gear levels right now. There is nothing you can build that will consistently beat a juiced Rondel Buckler raid boss.

@@Jungus1999uh… you can build 100% armor pen and literally one shot them. Barb is absolutely better than fighter in duos/trios, and with wizard being buffed(still a little too early to tell, but there’s wizards EVERYWHERE right now)it’s probably got the edge in solos as well. The heal pot buffs on top of the 2h buffs have unintentionally supercharged Barb

@@garagejesus You’re absolutely right that a high armor pen build is possible on Barb, it’s just rare to see it used because it hamstrings you against every other matchup, and doesn’t even guarantee victory against plate. I can’t speak for duos or trios since I haven’t played them enough this season to have an opinion. I think we can both agree that without Reckless in the picture, a PDR Fighter can at least go toe to toe with a Barb.
