This video idea was suggested by @MendaMeister7 - if you have a video you'd like me to make, let me know. I'm currently working on -Cyclops/Troll both killed in one round gold farming guide -Beginner guides for every character (except Druid)
CS is the game that taught me this. Used to play so scared and get shit on for years. one day I heard someone say push with your balls hanging out and it clicked. lmao
Use your gear. Have fun. You will find more. That's the best part of the game. I like doubling down on my gear by going in over and over getting better gear untill I die by something stupid. Like another player.
They have been and likely will continue to do so. With the current map rotation system I don't see why they couldn't just add more maps and at certain times a map might not be in any player pool. The Ruins map existed before as well with some unique mobs but it's currently removed while they are reworking it. Also, the vision for the game is still 3 layer dungeons which I think will be great - especially because they are going to let us stash some or all of our loot in between layers soon.
I just extracted for the first time. It took me 5 or 6 trys to even figure out the basics but I started to get it down and was mowing down goblin boys. Swooped the portal from under a guy camping it. Came out with purple gloves, blue helmet and a bunch of greens. These guides help a ton. I would be clueless otherwise and I still have a ways to go. 👍
I will say im a relatively new plater but often times i find that i win pvp when i either ambush them using secret rooms or go in with the most confidence as it will spike the opponents adrenaline and they will mess up
yeah had quite a few games that a lvl 99 run trough slaughtering ppl in normal and in sub 25 gear as well. Frankly if you have played an earlier season or are above lvl 20 you should just get put in normal "normal" no sub 25 gs for you cause it gets kinda sille when you se ppl that don't know the basics and some sweatlord runs in massacres them 1 by 1.
I have Torture mastery, vampirism, the 30% curse duration one, and the 10% will one for extra damage. 4th perk is not particularly important in this build.
If you are a f2p player know this, you will NEVER make money out of gear, because you cannot sell in the market you will be forced to sell to the vendors wich do not pay anywhere near the worth of most good items. So if you are a f2p and you loot gear from a player you either are going to use that gear yourself with the only class you can create or you will undersell like crazy to the vendors and get scammed
You are the best man! Thanks a lot for this guide! I just bought the full game to get more classes and didnt know about the market stuff, thats even better. Keep doing gods work mate.
Did you just say... Wipe??? A game involving grinding the same 3 stages until you have enough money and gear to be even slightly useful... Has a wipe feature?!? That's bullshit... This isn't rust where they have to wipe because there are a tun of bases laying around from people that don't even play anymore... Wtf is the purpose of a wipe for this game ffs
You want to mention about placing your loot in your back pack. Like if u are efficient organizing. You can fit more loot and move faster. Inatead of humming and hawwing over what u will drop.
I'm used to being low on magical healing items, which makes healing off hydra take forever. Also, a potion is a bit faster action than hydra + CoP/Sac. I generally just try to stay high enough to live from an axe hit of a nightmare skeleton in HR inferno, anything beyond that I don't worry about.
Not hating just curious: Doesn't this style of play(naked, cheesing, avoiding pvp, etc) get boring? Do you always play like this or is this like a "money run"? Again, not hating just curious. Everyone is free to play how they like.
idk if its just me but im beginging to really hate this game and im at a point where im playing this because dungeonborne is currently unplayable for me from technical reasons, but ive played about 20-25 rounds of dark and darker and ive only escaped once when i had help from a random player and on DB i got out on 2 out of my first 3 trys and i really really wanted to enjoy this game it looks like sooo much fun but its just bullying me at this point i cant suck for this long im really starting to hate it in need of serious help or how to fix DB
I haven't been playing for very long, maybe 10 hours on record. Super fun game, and I love it. However, I hate pvp, I have tried using Prox chat to tell people I'm friendly, and I always end up having to kill them. I never have anything of value going into a game. So everything I end up with comes from chests which are abundant. My main tactic for this game is to avoid other players at all costs. I start a game and then fill up my inventory very carefully and very quickly, looking in windowed doors before I enter one, I never enter large rooms. Then, as soon as I find blue stairs or a rope, I crouch in a dark corner with a nocked arrow until the exits open and then extract with a full inventory. Then, I get out and clear my inventory, get supplied gear, and then do it again. So far, in 6 escapes, this has had a 100% success rate.
@ like 50 hours now. Still new to dark & darker. So many players have complete grasp on every aspect of everything & are out seeking Tim blood. Also, other new guys breaking up the monotonous slaughter. However, today I actually won a few fights. Wouldn't ask for it any other way.
MY FIRST GAMES as a rogue AFTER I bought the game as I was playing fighter for a lot of levels, I get spawned in a hallway with 3 mummy’s and 1 elite 💀 I kept handles for 3 games horrible spawn. I can see how some people just quit if they experience that as their first game. It was also after watching the beginner guide 😭 I died fast all 3 times
Completely agree with you about the PVP. Been playing for the past few days and have ran into more crouch spammers than people that actually wanna fight lol. Like you said, nice to have the pvp there if you want it but the pve really carries the game!
Nightmare axe is possible to kill. But you will die a lot of times doing it 😂 you have to be literally into them (closest possible) and do circle strafes around the body
Pleasant watch. Regarding whether or not torches can spawn snuffed: yes, and I don't know if it's some specific ones, rather I think it's totally random. Seems to be a fairly small chance, too.
I'm a new player and play warlock but i failed so much time trying to cast Power of sacrifice and hit myself whit it. So that's make me happy to see someone skilled fail too 😅
Thanks for this really helpful video! I've been training to play warlock but it looks like it would be way harder to cheese inferno with other classes right?
this video helped a lot as to what to do next now my problem is figuring out what items are considered worth keeping since there's so many stats and items I have a hard time grasping as to what is generally worth money
You learn that by playing. There's tons of different stats people will pay for depending on class. +additional damage (for phys damage class items), +magical damage (for magic class items), and vigor items rolled with +max health are generally your expensive items.
One thing I do in any market based game is try to play a lot of different classes archetypes so you understand what people need to make them work best and it will obviously be the things that are worth more
pardon me lord, please don't forget to bring a coinpurse when high-rolling! It's only 5 gold from the collector, holds 50 gold, and usually nets >100 gold more per run if you know your stuff!
I agree with you on the timmy stompers. i'm almost wondering if we can start a "noobies union" to protect new players, because otherwise that kind of predatory play makes fewer new players stick around. I also wish we could get more folks using voip, to better communicate when folks are friendly or pvp-ing.
should have a faction system, incentivize team play but also keep pvp open for high stress high octane gameplay basically blue, yellow or red teams and you are penalized for team killing
That's what the "ask for help" button at the top left is for. You can get a player with 1k+ hours to play with you. If they can't carry you enough for you to learn the game you're pretty boned.
Ranger is definitely the next easiest class to do this on. He actually has higher DPS for single target than warlock too so he can sometimes clear faster.
There is none, you just try new things, get better gear, fight bosses etc it's one of those games where it would take you thousands of hours before you have seen all of what the game has to offer
What part about it is janky? This game honestly has one of the most accurate combat systems I've seen. Hitboxes are extremely form fitting, as are hurtboxes. I've dodged arrows that miss me by an actual hair, the blocking you have to have your shield be physically in the way of the hurtbox of the weapon.
@@cosmicfox5671 If you've ever played Chivalry or Mordhau then you know how a melee combat system can feel nice AND be accurate instead of what D&D does. D&D you literally have to hitbox abuse and bunny hop just to be decent at the game. The game is a constant mess of just kiting everyone around, it feels extremely tedious to play.
I think my game is bugged :/ ive done quite a bit of quests but none of my merchants are offering me better gear :( all thats available is poor quality T.T
@@freddyfishy2262 my reputation with them is at 25-50 and still just the base poor quality gear :( not even any extra base equipment yet from the squire
Yeah pve is more what i want, but pvp is fun. Maybe if they decreased the lobby size a smidge for solos id enjoy it more. Feels like theres 12-14 people in solo queue and i dont have space to breathe and learn
As you get more experienced the lobbies will start to feel less full. Ratting is its own specific playstyle and learning hotspots is huge for surviving as a rat.
It’s crazy to see that so many soldiers ventured to the red dungeons. Look how blood and stuff is on the walls, is there lore? This would be a fire show or anime. Getting gear and venturing. Each season a diff class 🔥
i wish the brackets should be better imho. I just got this game and have like 4 hours in it and it is incredibly infuriating. Encountering Crazy high people because I brought a sword I found. It really makes it difficult to enjoy the game when I'm trying to figure the fucking thing out and everybody kills me in one shot. Nobody talks And everybody outgears you. I would also kill Non-pregression solo mode to learn the maps like most other games have
