its true now more than ever. if your gear is absolutely insane where youre hitting damage reduction numbers of like 70-75%+ without a shield halberd can be used but its almost 100% required to have a bard to do this
What are your thoughts on the Flanged Mace as a weapon for fighter, it seems to do much more damage then the arming sword and has the good top down attack?
FINALLY! A RU-vidr with a sorted inventory! I would still put the cloak in between the head and body or even head, hands, body, cloak but shit it's at least nice to see one that's sorted.
Your videos are very good and underrated. These and the past few playtests I spent playing every class equally. You think with the new wipe I should begin to main more classes like fighter and barb?
10% flat attack speed from counter attack or 50% from shield expert ( 50% of your rating or its also flat ) ? also what buffs outside crush can stagger shields, and what perks or stats adds shield stagger resist?
you wont always get benefit from counter attack since youre not always going to block an attack however shield expert always gives some benefit whether you block an attack or not (the ms while blocking) shields have a defense value while weapons have an impact value so for example a war maul will overpower a buckler. the smash perk simply increases your impact value of a weapon. so big weapons break small shields as a tldr
The main problem is after all the nerfs hitting very high pdr numbers with two handed weapons is hard to do. If you can still hit those super high numbers its usable but thats not realistic for most people.@@IL4NCER
Use dark plate armor and be careful where you position. fighting wizards is all about positioning. another thing is their spells are a limited resource try to bait them into using fireballs and zaps and engage on them when theyre out
More like you are very unstoppable! And it probably is still the strongest class in the game even after nerfs. And even being hard capped on Dr. Its still incredibly tanky.
@@toddfatherttv oh make no mistake. I was just giving you a hard time on the wordage. Us normies looking at gear like that and drool at the throwaway set.
I got a question, blue gauntlets with +10 armor +2 weapon dmg or purple gauntlets with +1 all, +1 true physical. Thanks love ur content also is weapon dmg the best scaling for dmg compared to str, additional physical, true physical, %physical bonus
two handed as a whole isn't very good but tbh longsword is probably one of the better two handed weapons right now since you can use barricade/shield mastery with it but you really need to be able to parry consistently with the weapon to make it good.
If u wanna be faster just take some move speed mods dont bother with agility. Attacking faster is not worth sacraficing strenght for. This feels more like a gear show-off video to me.
Yes... I am showing off the gear I believe you should use as a fighter. and the movespeed and attack speed is 100% worth sacrificing strength for. It doesnt matter if youre tanky if youre too slow to catch up to anyone. and even with this gear I still have 30 strength which is why I say this build is not usable until you have insanely good gear because it requires a lot of agi and str
@@toddfatherttv You will always be able to catch their frontliner with move speed buff. That it your job as a fighter to be a frontliner and kill their frontliner. Once you killed their frontliner you basicly won. You dont need agi for that. You need to be beefy and do more dmg. Therefore Str>Agi
your job as a fighter is not to kill their frontliner its not be a space maker to allow your team to play the game. also strength only gives 1% physical power per point so overall its not giving you very much dmg. my significantly higher attack speed from agi is doing much more dmg than strength but hey feel free to have your own opinions.
If you have people downvote you or upvote you your name goes red or blue. I like the red name so I had my teammates down vote me for it. thanks for watching :)
