Dark Cloud Ceremony 

This scene blew me away as a teen. It was such a cool, cinematic introduction to the story and I can't think of anything else like it. It set the mood perfectly. The models are a little outdated by now of course but the dancing animation is so smooth and lifelike, it's not just a looping set of animations. I imagine they were modeled from life with how everything has weight and motion to it - you can even see the lead dancer turning her head on the spins at the end, the way real dancers do to keep a focal point to avoid getting dizzy.

dude the whole dance combined with the music and drumbeats gives that whole part of the game a sorta cult vibe

Back in 2002 when I was a kid, I had an iq of 65 and had no idea how to play this game or even what to do... But I always loved the Dancing ritual.

I'd pay money to see a live action version of this with special effects and what not.

If they ever do revive/remake this game, this is one of the first scenes I want to see HD-ified. This series needs more love.
