lucky to have met him many moons ago - a wonderfully warm and humble person who was friendly to all his fans and spent time talking to all of us. I said I wanted to get into writing and he told me to just go for it if it makes me happy.
I just met him this past weekend. It was the last con he’s doing on the east coast, ever. We were rushed through because there was a long line, so unfortunately I didn’t get to speak with him long. Just had enough time to tell him it was nice to meet him and that my father has been a fan of him since ‘The Books Of Blood’, which seemed to impress him of how long ago that was. He did seem friendly and he signed everything put in front of him, no matter how many items it was. He must have made a killing that weekend alone.
I do not agree with writing on a computer reduces the quality of writing. I am left-handed and write very badly so I take the computer and avoid tendinitis !
I prefer writing on a computer for the first draft, just because I personally find it more effective in my own work to write something and then criticise it into being good than to think about it for a long time before committing it to the page.
No, Barker does not have AIDS. He developed throat polyps that effected his voice. He also went into a coma after suffering toxic shock following a dental procedure.
@@mournblade1066 I've read enough to say unequivocallty that the average Fraggle Rock porn fanfiction writer has more to offer humanity than this derelict who nobody would give a second glance if he weren't pragmatically exploiting the fringes of societal norms and the adherents thereto.
Bro Clive is one of the great horror writers. His ability to write with naturalism is near perfect at times. He wrote elegantly, with taste. Never some trolly edgelord. Pull your simple cunt head in.
