in the video at 43 seconds it says 1978 in the bottom right. This was from the original recording of the song on LMK (the tv name in the bottom left) I'm guessing.
This is an unknown version not a rare one. And it was made after the version with Bass Leonid Kharitonov and the Choir of the Red Army. A very beautiful song!

Thank you for clarification. I was flabbergasted to see MG-34 being used by forces who did not look very much like Wehrmacht, SS or even any other Axis soldiers to me. I was wondering if they were Russian White Army but then I thought uniforms dont look like them either.
Jesus, that is right what were they thinking putting that weapon in the field 15 years early. If an army at that time in the 1918-21 period had them they could have better chances to win their war.

Those are MG-15 machine gun and it was never used in ww1 which was a mistake in the movie. The Austria-Hungarian troops use the schwarzlose machine gun

Makes it perfectly understandable as to why Russian Army failed utterly, collapsed, and disintegrated if they used cavalry clumsily like that against forces that had MG-34 0:25 (sarcasm). That is why I did not immediately come to think it was the Austro-Hungarian Army. I was wondering like "what Axis force was that? Wehrmacht or SS it was not"
