Hi Stew, try a copper ring with magnets on your arthritic finger. Worked miracles on my husband’s finger which had pain and poor circulation. I got his from DEMI+CO, not expensive. Worth a try. Hope you are feeling better Jane ❤️
Hi Folks I have been to France a number of times and what i found about the French people is if you try to say some few words in their language the will react by speaking to you in English, I also found them very helpful. I have sailed from Rosslare to Cherbourg and from Cherbourg I was able to visit all the Normandy beaches from Utah down as far as Gold beach including Pegasus bridge. The one thing i found about France is to stay away from the A roads if you can because the tolls on the A roads are terribly expensive. The D roads are every bit as good as the A roads and they are toll free. Do not if you can buy fuel on the motorways, it is more reasonable to buy it in the Supermarkets. There are a number of books available for the Aires in France that will give you the coordinates for where the Aires are located. There are also the A C S I books which give you the coordinates for thousands of campsites all over Europe. Happy Camping and a Happy New year
Yeah we had to register and take a test to fly the drone and go through the various eu laws so always conscious of country rules plus I use drone assist to advise no go zones etc
Lol we share the cooking 🧑🍳 in that Jane does most of the prep and all the washing up - I tend to do the stove part as a bit more organised around the two burners so it works well as a team effort
Supermarkets in France tend to fall into 3 brackets price wise. Leclerc (expensive), Carrefour (mid price), Intermarché (lower price) for example. Oh how I miss Leclerc! A real treat
Bakery food looked yummy. Pancakes looked good too. Quite healthy with the oats and fruit. Potato man would have freaked me out🤣. Mill was interesting with great views. Museum was really interesting. Love the way the artefacts are all in nature. Very poignant. That bunker was really sinister. That would have changed the war. Fascinating place. Pleased the camera is working well in the main. Hope you can sort your WiFi out. Nice 👍😊
Pancakes well worth a go - we had them this morning Yep the knock on the door was an interesting interaction Bunker was really good and something I didn’t realise Think I may have cracked Wi-Fi with a local router so we will see
Glad you enjoyed it - I have to say the stark reality of the rocket launch site surprised us at how production like it was and how close it was to start launching 30 or so a day Thanks for watching
Great video again, very interesting re WW2. The "pastries" looked fantastic which brought back some wonderful memories of trips to France. all the best and thanks for sharing
We've lived in France for 35 years and when we rarely go to the UK we're exactly like you on the uk roads 😂. The first time we left the ferry in Dover all the signs said keep left so we thought that meant just keep going left all the time and ended up in the middle of the industrial port with 50 other cars following us 😂😂😂
Thanks for watching - yes whilst I knew if V2 rockets I had no concept of how industrialised the Nazis had become - another month or so then it may have been a different story
I can still sense the nerves on the driving front 🤭 That must’ve been a really surreal place to visit. Pastries looked delicious, you’re tempting me with these bakery visits! Em 🎄
Thanks for sharing your second video in France, all the history lesson on WW2 in the area was really awesome.. You're managing to get what you need at shops, very well congratulations !!! the drone shots are also very interesting as we all get to seeing much more than on ground level...
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoy - trying to get the balance of history and vanlife - the v2 site really took us by surprise as it was so big and close to being a production line of terror
So enjoying your trip. Never thought to make pancakes using oats. Will be going back to get recipe The V2 block house bunker was so interesting. I love learning about this type of history. Well done. Cheers Lynne Victoria Australia 🇦🇺🐨💙💜. Wishing the holiday seasons brings you love & laughter. Merry Christmas. Looking forward to seeing how you celebrate Christmas in Harry.
Glad your enjoying the series - yep the key is 3/4 cups oats 1/4 plain flour teaspoon baking soda teaspoon sugar 1 egg sultanas and milk to get a smooth mixture Then fruit of choose and for luxury pomegranates and pine nuts sprinkled on top with honey drizzled and Greek yoghurt on the side
I could also have told you to look in the pots section of the supermarket, as here they sell cheap lids which can fit multi-size pots/ pans. Never seen them in UK
We really enjoyed this video. The history is right up our street as you know. You are so right about UK museums being so expensive. It stops us going in to so many that we would like to visit. Merry Christmas to you both
Great watch guys, I found the the museum and the history so interesting. I know it sounds sad but I do enjoy looking around a good continental supermarket. A very happy Christmas 🎄 to you both, looking forward to your adventures in 2024. 👍🐸
Thanks for watching but above all commenting it means a lot - the history blew us away a bit as we had no idea if that type of rocket site all pointing at the uk. Jane will agree entirely about the supermarkets - it’s a destination in itself Merry Xmas
Hi. Not just me then 😂 I was going in for one item and coming out 45 minutes later ! I stood in awe in one supermarket at the whole shelf section of cotton wool for goodness sake ! And I didnt even need any. Their hypermarkets are like Tesco Extra on steroids 😂 jane
Thank you for that Pam. I will definitely keep my eye out next time. I got a bit better as the trip went on but at least I can google the locations of Leclercs when we head back 😊. Jane
We have been to the blockhouse and like you we were in awe of the size it’s a very interesting site to visit. France is very good for camping and it seems they go out of their way with facilities. Enjoy your time touring . We do we keep going back. Happy travels.
