Is that strumming really taxing? I play drums and blast beats can get taxing from time to time. But always wonderered what its like strumming like that

The strumming is absolutely taxing! Especially the rhythm guitar which is not shown here, these big six-string power chords that are all strummed as 16th notes to create that chaotic wall of black metal sound. My right arm was burning but the sound is so badass, that f*cking rediculous pace set by Nils 😅😅

The strumming is definitely less taxing than blast beats. I play drums and guitar, drumming is a full body workout, while the strumming, if doing it correctly, js completely loose and you can barely feel it. Tension is the enemy, but there are more muscles at work with drumsticks than with a pick
