@@heythatsprettygood7672 okay, imagine you've worked your ass off on a song during band month. You finally are practicing again but your director decided to pull out their phone and recorded. You miss your toss. Simple mistake right? Dropping the flag happens to everyone at some point. Someone decides to comment that you played off missing the toss well. You checked the replies and saw that someone thought and decided to comment the exact opposite Keep your negative opinions to yourself, eh?
sooo much cleaner than most group routines I've been seeing on here lately. Thank goodness there are still guard members out there that understand counts and synchronization!!!! Good job!
Haha when the marching band kids come back in to put away their instruments and we're going over our choreo and they're literally up against the wall because they don't wanna get hit... yeah 😂
I congratulate whoever wrote this routine. In the chorus it is a little slow compared to the rest of the pace, but other than that, it was great! I am definitely going to use this as inspiration for my routine I'm writing for a halftime show! 😁
@Righty's Creative Corner haha something similar happened to me a couple weeks ago. We were stretching and we took our sneakers off. Me, being the smol brain person I am didn't put my shoes back on, and while doing the routine (flourish with right hand at the bottom cheater) hit my foot with the flag...ouch lol
I have watched this video like dozens of times, and recently I decided to use the toss at 00:37 in my solo routine. This routine is beautiful, I love it
I remember seeing this video when I first joined the Guard. I really wish our school had an indoor guard, and I didn't have to only twirl on the football season. I love being in the guard! Good job guys! This is beautiful!!
The point of guard is to make it look easy, which we do, and is exactly the problem because everyone I know just doesn't understand how hard it really is and is never amused by it xD
I actually learned this choreography in approximately 2 days, and to be honest, that’s very quick for me! This video inspired me to push harder and strive to be a better performer! I just wanted to say thanks haha :)
I love how the flags seem to snap in place and move with their bodies in tempo with the song. Also, when the lyrics are "Make me you're Aphrodite" and they plant their flags on the ground and spin around them is my favorite. TBH I'd love to talk to my Captain to see if we could work that some way into our show. It just fits to what we're trying to do and looks so cool.
thank you, but keep in mind these are 3 girls who spun together for two years c: it is much harder to do the same with rookies and vets who have never spun together before
I loved your performance! I loved how you guys were so in synch like so together and the work went perfectly with the song! Overall rating 1 through 10 it was 11!
Band any part of it isnt easy. I played clarinet for years. I tried out for the flag line in our group when i was sophomore. I wasnt quite coordinated enough for that. All the band puts in tons of practice for the half time shows. I loved my years in the band. Played from 7th grade through some college.
Well done! This was beautifully coreographed and I could tell you guys are having a lot of fun with. There were a few out of sync moments here and there and I would love to see harder drill but other than that, this was really great!
Awsome recoveries!! Loved the ripples too ^.^ Earlier, when they did J-tosses in a file, if it fits with the music, you should make that a ripple set, but put it together with the rest of the gaurd and it would look really amazing!!!
these are the throwback songs i hope we do when i join gaurd lol, my first pole and silk are coming in in the next few days and my weights came in yesterday :D
