And that Dracula Untold movie (even though I personally enjoyed that one). He also appeared in Ghostbusters and Johnny English. Almost all his small role and non-big budget stuff is good. But anything major as been shitty. Godzilla KotM was his first role in a BIG film that every scene he's in; people love, and as a film it's overall not bad.

The animated show did a great job. It's not the story. It's one of the greatest story arcs in the comic. Its Fox Studios. They just plain suck at comic book movies.

@@TonyKnight1208 It's a bit of a mess. Part of it is because it tries to cram two plots into a single movie, with both the cure and Dark Phoenix things happening. Another part is that characters just feel off. Magneto, in particular, is just done so wrong. He's supposed to be pro-mutant, yet here he just throws mutants into combat and expressly states he doesn't care if they die like cannon fodder. And when he loses his best soldier due to her taking a dart for him, he just abandons her, even though she'd still be for his cause, and there is always the potential of finding a cure for the cure. Plus the whole "forcing the cure on people is wrong"... only for the X-Men to force the cure on Magneto. And of course the stupidity of Storm showing absolutely no sympathy for Rogue potentially wanting the cure. So ultimately, it had some good ideas, and it could have been a much better movie, but it makes a mess of a lot of things. But yeah, people seem to agree that this movie is worse... and if not, well there's always the first Wolverine movie to compare it to ;)

I saw another reviewer call it 'The Rise of Dark Sansa'.

Would make more sense, but no. This is the Director's second thing he's ever directed. The first being an Episode of the Twilight Reboot. Also Jennifer Lawrence refused to return unless this guy, Simon Kinberg, was Directing. So take that information and do with it what you will.

For sure, Sophie is pretty but I never felt much about her acting in GoT, as opposed to Maisie as Arya who did an amazing job. Even in if in later seasons and the finale I didn't quite like the direction they took Arya and everything else about the story, she still did well. Maisie just showed way more range of emotions, and you could blame some of it on the character Sansa, but anything else I've seen Sophie in is just "Sansa cosplaying something".

JLaw wanted out. They confirned she was dying early on so they didnt waste time and money making her look better. And her hair and skin are actually more accurate and how the character should look

That's it, you remove the entire family and give more screen time for an actual decent human character. The chinese woman, the japanese dude and Tywin Lannister... This movie only needs these 3 to sustain the human plot. Cut the family = less 30 minutes of footage. That cuts the duration of the movie to about 1 hour and half, with 30 minutes of monster fighting and humans exposing their plot, that would be easily the best Kaiju movie ever made. But no, hollywood thinks we went to this movie to watch the kid from netflix, lol

I saw it and it's just plain boring. The first 15 minutes or so and you'll be thinking "what was everyone talking about? This isn't so bad" but then as it goes on you'll be bored out of your mind and just stop caring, then it gets worse and worse. The train scene was okay but that's because of all the reshoots they needed to do. It's still really jarring though. Definitely one to avoid.

The first 3 still hold up, just watched them all again like last year. Even X-men Evolution is more entertaining than the Fox movies imo, but they weren't true to form with the comic books like the original animated series was.

(Wolverine is supposed to be short and ugly, but Hollywood loves to make everything more pretty) Wolverine Origins was obviously garbage with what they did to Deadpool, the other Wolverine movies weren't great and Logan, while a decent movie had almost nothing to do with the X-men and yet again, not true to the comics. If you liked Logan, look up the "Old Man Logan" comic series, they are way better than the movie. Some seriously bad-ass shit goes down in them. Though, I'm going to assume the main reason you like "Movie Wolverine" is because you're attracted to Hugh.

G14 did it but was still good, KOTM did it in a lesser degree and it was great, maybe they'll learn...

Logan basically set the bar so high no X men film before or after could compare.

@Sketchy Madness It's easy to rank the MCU movies actually from the bottom... The bad ones are like 5 the most (at least the ones with the most amount of hate and actual flaws)... The good ones might be hard... Personally I like Winter Soldier the most, but I understand if someone says Endgame or Infinity War...

Yeah, really. Some directors are total shit at directing actors. That said, I haven't seen the movie, so it could be her and the director for all I know. Sometimes, bad directors also get bad actors.
