A few days ago one of you asked me about how to maintain work life balance. And here is my response to that question is. In Dubai I would often end my work around 6 p.m. However, in India. On most of the days I've ended my work around 9 p.m. and on few occasions around 1 a.m. as well. And I've never been alone.
In India there are a lot of employers who are unfortunately harassing people by freely calling them at any hour, by not over-paying them, by having bizarre timelines on the name of client deliverables. I am voicing this out today because in my twenties I have had migraine pain myself. I have had Eye-Pain and many other health conditions. today as luck would have it, I have become an entrepreneur.
But what's the solution? Not everyone can be lucky to become an entrepreneur like me. This is not a rant against India, but I am sharing the harsh reality of India as India is growing at a very fast pace. We also need to realize the need of labor laws along the line of Germany, along the lines of Netherlands, and hence I am voicing this out today so that Indians and Indian employers realize that the day has to come to an end where humans are treated as slaves in 21st century India, and this barbaric treatment needs to stop.
