i work 12-14 hours in Zomato by cycle 🙂, they shoud give us more order earning , 5-6 km for 32-36 rupees is kinda unfair it takes 40-45 min to complete one order then more 15 min for getting the next order also some coustomer are asking us to come in different locations , and 6-7 floor flat no lift , coustomer also should tip as with 10/20 rupees that will be a big help 😀

Abhi riders har din 15 to 20 km ka order Dene ke liye majboor Kiya jata hai. Rider bechara usko Jana hi padta hai. Jate wakt 15 km aur wapas order zone me aane ke liye 15 km. Aur iss order ka use sirf max 70 rs. Milta hai. Jo ki petrol me nikal jata hai. Kabhi kabhi raat ko 2 baje bhi 15 to 20 km ke order par Jana padta hai. Order reject kare to penalty aur upar se din bhar mehnat karke Jo minimum guarantee amount kamate hai woh bhi cancel hoti hai. Customer ko lagta hai ki delivery boy order late karta hai aur usse galiya bhi deta hai lekin sach ye hai ki koi bhi delivery boy order late nahi karna chahta kyonki use uska Target pura karna hota hai. Order hamesh restaurant Wale late karte hai kyonki unka priority sirf walking customer hai. Order jaldi Dene ke liye delivery boy ko bike bhi speed se chalani padti hai aur isliye kabhi kabhi accident bhi ho jate hai. Lekin company ko koi farak nahi padata kyonki unhe hamesh koi dusre bande mil jate hi hai. Abhi swiggy ne order earning Kam karke naya minimum guarantee program suru kiya hai jaise 7 order Maro to 325 15 Maro to 600 20 Maro to 1000 Lekin order bhi hamesh 7-8 km ke rehte hai to ye target complete karna delivery boys ke liye nayee pareshaani hai. Company khud ke fayde ke liye riders ko pisva ke le rahi hai. Kitna bhi support mange fir bhi galti riders ki na ho to bhi usko hi penalty lagti hai. Aaj sabhi swiggy or Zomato riders bahot tention me kaam karte hai. Ek baat jarur bataunga ki aadhe swiggy riders acche educated or qualified hai fir bhi unhe ye kaam karna pad raha hai kyonki market me job ki kami or salary bhi bahot kam milti hai. Bechare khud bhuke reh kar aapko khana deliver karte hai lekin unki koi nahi sunta. Nahi unke future ke bare me sochata hai. Aur me aapko isliye bata raha hu kyonki mai bhi ek delivery rider hu. Pehle IT me tha lekin job Jane ke Karan aur age matter se job nahi mil Rahi hai to ye job karna pad raha hai mujhe.

You are right, but these offers are not given by Zomato and Swiggy, they are all charged by the restaurant.

Zomato & swiggy doesn't pays delivery boys and restaurant merchants are responsible for managing their food costs in which they have to includes delivery charges also. I AM a merchant and provides food to zomato as well as swiggy. And i am paying delivery charges on each order.

Swiggy chor company ho gayi hai ab. Bhai me Delhi meri choti si food kitchen chalata hu. Swiggy wale itna charges kaatne lag gaye hai, mene ek week me 4200₹ ka food order bana kar diye aur mujhe payment me 126₹ ka hi payout Mila, check kiya toh pata chala ki 1000+ unki commission h, 2000 advertisement plan auto renewal, 800+ call centre fee, cancellation charges aur other charges. 126₹ me mujhe kya bachat hoga. Iss baat ko ek mahina ho gaya hai, 15-20 baar me mail kar chuka hu lakin swiggy se koi sunta nahi. Me bohot pareshan ho gaya hu.

Quality issues is one of most essential points. 200-250 rs mein bhi ye log jis quality ka khana deliver karta hai, wo uska adhe daam se bhi kam mein usse achcha quality mil saakta hai.

Prices are absurdly high for the quality of food their partner restaurants deliver. This is the main reason I stopped ordering from these apps. It always left me with food poisoning. Its like the restaurants keep a special stale food at their end just for these apps. Stale food, low quantity, high prices. This alone is playing major role in the downfall. I myself am scared to order food worth more than 1k, as I am almost certain that the food won't be of more than 300 or 400 inr at best.

7.10 -- Restaurants don't make much money through zomoto ,yes restaurants do get more orders and hastle free delivery but there are few following points from restaurant prospective. 1- Restaurant pay heavy commision per order 2- they need to run heavy discount and marketing promo on zomoto,considering there food and packaging cost plus all zomoto promo ,restaurant makes nothing. 3- so restaurant increase there price on zomoto where zomoto get more commision too. 4- there will be no loyal customer base for restaurant on zomoto/swiggy 5- restaurant hire more staff to process order which increase there labour cost 6- riders attitude towards thier work it's not motivating ,they were not trained,lots of riders deliver order without taking care of food( don't carry proper delivery bag) only customers are getting benefit of fast service ,choices,discounts

I dont think zomato swiggy making loss. They charge 30-40% for every elevated food cost. (Let say any dish cost Rs.280 at restaurant. listed Rs.325, swiggy charge almost Rs.100 extra). i.e. Swiggy take Rs.425 for Rs. 280 dish in Kolkata. 52% extra. After that also they are making loss?
