Honestly my vote would be siding with the Dread Wolf, the evanuris will need to be dealt with one way or another. As for "the raw chaos that burned human society when the veil would be torn" Humans had it coming for all the crimes they have committed against the Elves. The betrayal of Humans at the dales. The enslaving of Elves in human cities list goes on and on.
Every human deserves to suffer from the actions of a few. Every single one. To think otherwise is to be foolish. All those children who will die screaming when the veil is destroyed? Bro, they had it coming.
If the Inquisitor is a party or council member then maybe, but as a new PC you won't know Solas from the documents Josephine/Cassandra/Leliana hands you.
Me too! I want to see what the ancient Arlathan looked like, I want to see what the world could be with the fade woven into it's very fabric, I want to see the world he loved so much he's willing to risk this one, I want to see the ages come and go by his side.
Unfortunately it's not very likely we'll be allowed to, but it would be such an interesting game too! You'd be pretty much playing as the antagonist against the rest of the inquisiton and constantly questioning whether the goal is really worth it, torn between the two choices. Ugh no matter what comes I'm just so excited for the next game!
Seriously, I think Mass Effect is dead at this point. Solas is the only hope for BioWare to rise from the ashes because he has the start of a great villain/anti-hero and pretty good background, still plenty mysterious but also revealing just enough so that you wanna know more. I so hope DA4 will not disappoint.
