If you've ever had depression, like serious, long term, multi year stuff, there is a comfort in sinking into that abyss. The melancholy becomes a sort of blanket. It's soft, just like the sun in Majula.
Thank you. I never understood how people found this peaceful. There is a haunting malaise that increases in intensity until it fully manifests at the end.
There are too little of us who really enjoy these kind of videos, may it never get mainstream and may you never stop posting these for I love them, keep it up man
@@naproupi well I do mind it because sometimes the higher ups get a little more known and start to change everything for the sake of pleasing newcomers, that applies to everything in life, it's rare when a content stays true to it's roots and originality once it goes viral
Coming from the place between worlds you arrive at an old village on a cliff you have never been here and yet a strange nostalgic feeling begins to settle in like a forgotten childhood memory coming back.
Extraordinary. I put a few hundred hours into DS2. Loved it. But I never recorded any of my playthrough. So it feels ... lost. I simply have to play it again. I know it won't be like the old days, and will be more like ... returning to a dream. But I have to do it.
man, im smoking a joint listening to this on a sunday night. life is being so crazy to me this year, i wish i could really take a rest but everything seems running so fast. after a very intense week, hearing this getting ready to sleep and wake up in monday, feels like im on a bonfire resting before battle another boss.
The only problem with this video is the absence of the sound of the waves. The mix was just perfect. To this day, after the release of Elden Ring's dlc, Fromsoftware hasn't surpassed the atmosphere of this area yet. Truly the most magical place in the souls series.
Majula's theme is so engrained into my head that whenever I hear it backdropping a youtube video, I never even have to guess what I'm hearing. I feel like I have a Majula radar or something.
While ds2 isn't my favourite souls game it has my favourite hub out of the souls games. It feels connected to the world like ds1 but it feels like a safer place than firelink. Like you can just spend a hour or 2 watching the sea without a worry
This is my favorite hub area. Something just hits perfectly with this theme. All the other themes are great in their own right. But majula has a sense of longing to it like it misses you haha.
I was never one to follow trends or game developments and really enjoyed ds1 when it came out and before i knew it they release ds2, what I'm getting at is that i went into the game without eyes clouded by hate, i had a lot of fun playing this one
Overused song in youtube serving as background for a dude trying to do his deepest voice possible while telling that a reddit post led him through a rabbit hole of some obscure experimental artist on Instagram. Still really nice peaceful piece.
This game... Probably one of the best experiences i had. This and New Vegas are my safe place. Opinions don't even matter every time i remember how i enjoyed this game ❤️🩹
