I think the problem is his use of "Where The Hood At", a song that is sometimes used by people with less than positive opinions about African-Americans. Or because the song itself has a line that is less than positive about homosexuals.
@@toxicnea6405 i said good to see that you can spell correctly you supid fuck, how am i being a "grammar police" if i literally said he spelled it right? You're under arrest 🚔🚔🚔
You can use an Ascetic Bonfire at the Huntsman Copse and then kill the Skeleton Lords twice. They drop the 'Clear Bluestone Ring+2'. It shortens the spell casting time by 55%!
I didn't understand that the hood gives you 1 int, so I went ahead and got 50 and nothing else. But that was a mistake, as I got no attunement so I couldn't cast many spells. Rip
Pssssst. I bring tales of another forbidden build that you can pull off: Powerstanced Poisoned Spotted Whips. Pros: You only need 13 str and 37 dex to powerstance (level 38 with a bandit before adding vig, end, etc), and both of the L1 and L2 attacks will instantly poison almost anything in the game (once you include the rat ring), including other players, sans some super poison resistant enemies and, of course, bosses. Cons: You'll need to get shrine of Amana and beat the Frog...twice. I've done it at SL100 for a completely nasty build. Fear not the dark my friend, and let the feast begin.
Right, I completely forgot to mention those things. They're definitely useful, and you don't even need to beat any of the bosses in Shulva to farm. Just need to beat The Rotten.
You should post a runtrough on that here www.reddit.com/r/DarkSouls2/comments/8btq2k/speedy_start_for_new_characters/ I've been meaning to put one up for a poison dex build, based on powerstanced Spotted Whips and Poison Manslayers and poison arrows.
I'm back after 6 years just to watch for fun. I remember having a LOT of fun with this build back in the day. Good memories, masterpiece of a tutorial.
With 50 int you can only just understand some of the humour. To fully comprehend the magnificence that is Rock and Morty you must have 99 int with 99 insight
I want to say, your recent dark souls 2 videos have been stellar, and they got me into trying the game again. I hope you keep up doing what you do best
I'm not gonna lie to you a lot of the dlc bosses are fun with this build I'd say the two worst bosses to fight with it are sir alonne and blue smelter demon I probably died over 50 to 60 times to sir alonne and about 15 to blue smelter demon
bro. Thanks for this video. I'm new to DS and this really helped A LOT. I couldn't pull the yolo jump so I went to NMW and got the branch from there instead. I ran through but had to kill about 5-8 mobs total to get it and the shortcut. Didn't want to risk the funhouse welcome so I got the rat covenant first and then went and got the faint stone in Doors of Pharos. Anyone who has trouble with those steps this is another potential avenue for those items.
For even MORE fun, take a Bonfire Ascetic as your starting gift! Then you have one of two options: - Use it on the second bonfire at Huntsman's Copse to respawn Soul Spear. BAM, six 900+ damage spells with Hexer's Hood on. - Use it on the last bonfire in Shaded Woods and go kill Najka again. BAM, Southern Ritual Band +2 so you can equip more pew pews and Great pew pews. Also, if you go to Harvest Valley, you can buy another Ascetic from Chloanne, so then you can do both! :)
Game has so many bosses in my current run I have a million soul memory and I've only beating the giant ruin sentinels scorpioness royal rat authority and the rotten 4 times
@@Akakiryuushin he's easy though in sotfs you start with a aesthetic get one from Bastille buy one from girl at earthern peak pretty fast you can do this
Connor OBrien i think it’s the one on pc where you equip a spell with high casts like soul arrow and travel to any area and as the screen fades to black right click click back go to attunement and switch the soul arrow for whatever spell you want. an example can be found in the pacifist dark souls 2 video.
Bro I really love your videos, i learn a lot about new ways of playing my favorite game saga. Suscribed since i watched your DS3 tutorial for beating Midir early using the Sellsword Twinblades.
Guys I'm devastated, I got all the way to the staff of wisdom and killed the mimic through the window, then the stupid pig in the well killed me causing the item drop to disappear. How in the world can I get the staff to drop now????????? It's gone
I can't believe the Staff of Wisdom is available so early on SotFS. Having to wait until after Dragon's Aeirie on the PS3 is why I think usually say "screw sorcery, I'll just use Hexes with the Sunset Staff instead" early on.
how to be op as hell early: 1. get soul spear 2. get 50 int 3. attunement swap with soul arrow for 30+ casts, buy more soul arrows for more casts. 4. get 90+ casts and destroy everything. yeah, you can stack soul arrows for soul spears...
I am currently at a 42 INT using a black Witches staff +10, no infusion, weapon score is like 1342 or some shit honestly, and it counts as a staff, and sacred chime so access to both sorcery and miracles and unlimited hex access. Which means i only have to switch between the staff and my pyrimancy flame! Noice! Now if i could just find a weapon similar to the basic morningstar but just more op that would be nice but sadly their isnt one. So a dragonblood sword +5 is my primary backup melee weapon.
Anyone noticed ? Electric miracles actually deals more damage and have a AoE animation when the target hit is standing in water. Thought this was a nice touch.
This isn't really a guide dumbass lol, it's for shits and giggles, sure if you play the game enough you can just know what hes talking about but these are no way meant to be comprehensive..like, come on man.
2:40 I physically cannot make that jump EVER. I watched how you did it multiple times, repeated. And it can’t be done. I’m doing something wrong but idk what.
note that this OP walkthrough does not work for the dlc. Sorry Mario, but the fragrant branch of yolo is in another castle. Regardless this is a good video.
I reinstalled the game to try this. maybe because it is in the pc version, i can't do the yolo jump, so i decided to farm souls in the fire salamander, when going down the stairs. 27 soul arrows, 1000 souls. killing 12 times you can buy the fragrant branch of the seller.
"Why don't you make faith op early?" I thought it would be because faith apparently got hit with smough's great nerfhammer and now it's not really worth it or op.
- Get staff of wisdom and soul spear - Nuke the Duke's dear Freja, twice. - Get Crystal soul spear - Perform the spell uses swap onto crystal soul spear (pc only) - Get witchtree branch. Now you have a fck ton of uses of crystal soul spear with staff of wisdom for pure damage and witchtree branch + lion mage set + clear bluestone ring for insane casting speed for pvp.
Why dont you do Faith OP early? Because it is damn near impossible. Now if it was possible to get a hold of a vanilla copy then booooooooooooooooooooooooom
When the game first came out it was since you only needed to dump I think 8 faith to use lightning spear. Pre nerf even that spell at 22 faith would one shot a majority of early mobs. Also it had 10 casts at starting attunement. It was pretty nuts
@@Akakiryuushin Tbh i have been playin the vanilla unpatched ds2 and using a faith build. I wouldnt say it really needed nerfing that hard let alone as hard as they did. Str builds def put out more consistent damage for greater periods of time. Not to mention not having any updates means no online so its hard to make use of the stronger miracles you get from sentinels if you cant get em.
