Hey, this was recommended on my front page and I'm glad I watched it! There were a couple of points where audio cut to one ear, but overall, I really liked the vid. Looking forward to part 2!
I was watching another Iceberg video on DS2, but the pronunciation of certain words annoyed me so I checked yours I have to say, It's 10 000 times better than the other. You sound more natural and the hesitation at some points in the video makes it sound more like improv and I like that better than a robot reading a text like most iceberg videos. Keep it up!
Little sidenote about Things Betwixt in SOTFS. If you lock your fps to 30, it is possible to jump over the ledge that sits above the petrified statue where all the basilisks are. Good little spot for trying to farm some early game infusion stones.
For everyone coming to an audio problem at 33:52 it's just the video's Prob. One thing to know about Dark Souls 2 and it's editions. Dark Souls II of ps3 and Xbox360 is same as the PC one. Dark Souls II Scholar of the first Sin of ps3 and Xbox360 are different than the PS4, Xbox One and PC. To fully enjoy DS2 SOTFS and get all contents fairly without drops you need more than 2 New Game Pluses. All of what you got in the video is right.
I dig your conversational nature here. This is fun as hell (and informative!) and it’s refreshing that you don’t come off as a DS2 hater. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, I just haven’t heard anything original from that side in a decade. You seem to appreciate and have some passion for DS2. Hell yeah dude, TWU! Btw, I’ve never seen that Heineken texture lol. P.S. I wouldn’t listen to those in the comments section who are LARPing as teachers “correcting” your video. This is fantastic, original work. Aside from the audio issue you’re aware of, I have zero complaints and lots of praise. Big Ups!
Work a bit more on not using filler words and also using more gameplay related to what you are talking about and not random parts of the game ( understand it's not possible to find things especially for iceberg videos ) but other than that great video!
Nice video, I like the background still image and the way you edited the corresponding clips, but I think you should practice your delivery and learn how to speak clearly and more concisely with less umms and uhhs. It gives the impression that you aren't confident in what you're saying and makes the video difficult to listen to. You have a good voice but you should speak more authoritatively and confidently, as if you were reading the news, or perhaps teaching us a history lesson, no like, no ummm, etc. You want to give the viewer the impression that you're knowledgeable and you didn't do that for me because of the lack of confidence in your delivery.
