Estoras Ultragreat sword is still probably to this day one of my all time favorite weapons to use in DS3 pvp. Glad this game 8 years later is still played and beloved.
Hard to believe that at release i cannot sit at the bonfire after equipping the aldrich seal because I was summoned almost instantly after returning from an invasion
@@LJAndrews1986 Active? I had reinstalled a few weeks back and ran through the whole game without getting a single summon sign, invader or not and this includes both DLC's. Must be too high level or something, I thought. Until I made a new character and went through the same thing XD I wish this game was more active than ER, because the PvP is golden. ER's PvP is just skill spamming 24/7

@@titans2720sales do not mean a game is better, they mean it sold better. I do agree that ds3 is better than ds2, the gameplay is just much better imo, feels smooth.

I completely disagree, as there is no such thing as rating a game objectively. There are certain aspects of the game like frame rate, and resolution witch do objectively improve, but that’s solely for graphics.
@@lekhanhvu1929 oh nice, that's a super easy build! for level 90 Knight class: 35 vigor (40 w/Prisoner's chain) 35 endurance (40 w/Prisoner's chain) 18 vitality (23 w/ Prisoner's chain) 16 strength (enough to one-hand Astora GS and 2 hand Lothric Knight GS) 40 dex (soft cap) Level up your weapons fully for level 90. Sharp infuse everything you can. You can move some points around here and there, but this is what I would do. Rings should be Ring of Favor +3 and Prisoner's chain, the rest is personal preference. Hope this helps!
It WOULD be the best if all the old abusive strats weren't still a thing (Insta-swap gundyr 1 shot, RKSS animation cancel abuse etc.) it genuinely ruins the arena, every single person is just abusing all the old unfixed bullshit.
Elden Ring PvP has its funny times imo, but compared with ds3 it is bigshit i agree with you. Elden Ring is the meeting point of the biggest elitists tryhardlords nowadays.
Yeah no... ds3 pvp is fun I'd give it that But dark souls 2 pvp is still Objectively better in terms of fundamentals and skill Gap in Every Single Way 3 Reasons As to Why 1. Ds2 is more punishing as in If u mash or Whiff a attack you get severely punished.... ds3 pvp is forgiving which allows u to get away with stupid meme Setups or just mashing to your heart's content and I Hate that 2. Ds2 requires alot more passivity and Stam management which I love makes fights last Longer and overall more interesting 3. The hitboxes in Ds2 are actually very Fair and the backstabs Are more fair then ds3s... ds3s backstabs u Can literally be 4 feet behind a person and still backstab them plus Daggers don't fucken oneshot riposte in Ds2 backstabs should not be Easy to Do they should be difficult Bonus Reason: the recovery on weapons in Ds2 are better and last longer cause I'm Sry Straightswords and curvedswords Recovery in ds3 is fucken Abnoxiously high U should not be able to attack 8 times with a Straightsword and still manage to perfectly Roll outta a attack same with greatswords So tldr: ds3 is fun But ds2 is objectively superior... especially in dueling and for competitive
It's just a shame that DS3 will always be marred as the game with the worst invasion gameplay. I'm still sad they rolled ganksquads over into Elden Ring.
DS3 pvp > ER pvp yup, still the best no matter what. ER may have more pvp options, but on pc I can still barely fight anyone without either me or them disconnecting!
