He charged at you, with intentions of killing you. He held his weapon steady. He leaped at you, his weapon high. But you ignored it. R.I.P. Black Knight You jumped too late
There is no build for this, Cesar; the damage done by the unarmed dragon form has nothing to do with stats. The challenge to making a character like this is acquiring the Dragon Body Stone, which means finding the Path of the Dragon covenant, and turning-in 30 Dragon Scales. Turning-in more scales increases the damage done in body form, increases fire-breath damage, and increases the range/damage boost of the roar. It's sad that this video doesn't have more views; this is my personal favorite character/build, and an excellent kill.
But health and endurance matter. Health so you can survive longer, and endurance so that you can fun and fight more. Once your vitality is 99 and endurance 40, move on to resistance.
Kevin Meisenbacher Sure, health and endurance could potentially matter for the overall game (depending on the skill level of he player), but in the context of this 48-second clip: those things are irrelevant; the character is a one-hit kill for any of the enemies he encounters because of the Red Tearstone; avoidance of the black knights is more about positioning than stamina, and barely any stamina is used during the entire Gwyn battle. I guess the dragon form does potentially put more importance on health and endurance over the course of the game because they are literally the only two stats which can noticeably affect that play-style, but a performance identical to this can be delivered regardless of those things; it's more about knowing enemy attack patterns and mastery of the controls. For an above-average/seasoned Dark Souls player: health and stamina are a luxury and not a necessity; if you can dodge and/or parry everything: neither stat matters.
When Gwyn and the others decided to challenge the dragons, that's most likely when Ornstein, Artorias, Ciaran, and Gough joined, whom eventually became his four knights out of recognition for their performance in said war. In the DLC, you're sent through a portal in time to Ancient Oolacile, a point in between the Dragon War and the end of the Age of Fire (present time)
The unarmed damage can be increased through covenant rank, up to a maximum of 35%. Could also do more damage if you used Power Within and had 2 Hornet Rings.
An art of the transcendent apostles who pray to the ancient dragons. To be alive is to be vulnerable, and the fiery Gods are no exception. The apostles seek another plane of existence, which transcends life.
That's the parry for Greatswords, Greataxes, Greathammers, and Fist Weapons if memory serves. Once in the body for a small amount of damage, and then in the head for the actual parry bit.
its great for getting great damage for your weapons, and you get nice unarmed damage, plus the shockwave and fire breath, but your defense and poise suffer alot because you can't wear armor. if someone stunlocks you you're done. if you're going for a dragonbro build, raise your resistance and vitality super high so you dont get two-shotted by any sword.
@EatLavaFartFire I tried this with another character first. Gwyn has one attack that is impossible or almost impossible to parry so you got to have a bit of luck. After maybe two hours I successfully parried him three times in a row without taking damage. The only problem was, I forgot to record it... I decided to try it again, and this was the only character I had that could kill gwyn. To do this without tearstone ring would take 4 hits so I decided to use the ring. It only took me a few tries.
You get the dragon items by gaining ranks in the dragon covenant found in Ash Lake. The path to Ash Lake can be complicated if you don't know the way, so if you don't know the way, look it up on the wiki.
He lost everything, and you are the one who stole it all from him. This was no battle. This was putting a broken old man out of his misery. He had no family, no friends. His kingdom overrun by demons and the creeping darkness which spawned them. His wife a faded memory, his children run off to some unknown corner of the world. And now his fire is dying. And you take what little life he has left from him.
he was refering to the use of a bow to backstab, this does a shit ton of damage as it will include bow damage, arrow damage and resin damage if used on your main hand weapon, ie tons of lightning damage
It's only a glitch if they bs you with a bow in the offhand. When this happens, the bow's attack power is taken into effect PLUS the unarmed effect making it ridiculously OP.
@VoreTechz1985 totally agree after one playthough demon souls and dark souls is like picking a lock with already knowing all the wrong places so each becomes significantly easier.
@Caroso964 This video is just...absurd lol. The fact that you did this with like 20 health is impressive enough, but im more impressed with the fact that you parried gwyn's ridiculous first attack. bravo.
@pwnageprata if you look at the left of the health bar, you can see that nearly every enemy in the game could've finished him off in one shot at that moment.
He didn't punch him. That crunching noise you heard was him grabbing Gwyn by the jimmies and giving a stiff squeeze. No man, not even a God King can withstand a dragon claw groin clutch.
No glitch. Red Tearstone Ring and Hornet Ring. Unarmed damage as a dragon is always the same, it does not scale with any stats. The same thing can be done with a level 1 character in dragon form.
I wouldn't have become so good at this game if I relied on co op all the time. I learned how to beat the bosses the hard way and now I stomp all over them because of it.
If you give the Everlasting Dragon a total of 30 Dragon Scales, you get to rank 2 in the Path of The Dragon covenant and then you get the Dragon Body Stone, which turns the rest of your body to a dragon. It's hard to get so many Dragon Scales, though....
Yea i agree with that. Ng+ is a darn pushover almost, when you disregard the fact that you have a bit harder bossfights. Walking trough everything with really good gear makes it a cakewalk. But then after that it gets dicey. I have yet to start a ng++ and im not sure if i really want to. Unless its for spells.
The only dragons in the game are 1) Seath 2) Undead dragons in the valley of the drakes and painted world 3) Kalameet 4) Everlasting Dragon (For the covenant) The red one in undead parish is a wyvern
It's not a glitch, it's an extremely easy way to get massive damage. By using the Red Tearstone Ring and being under 25% health, your offensive power rises a great deal. By using the Hornet Ring, all ripostes become much more damaging. By being in Dragon Form, your unarmed attack becomes much more powerful.
You thinking the same as me, Lulzmaker? "IF" there is a Hybrid-Form between Human and Dragon availabe to have - there "SHOULD BE" a Form between Human and Spider, too. Since it is s~oo cool to be a Servant of the Chaos-Covenant of Quelaag and her little Sister - there should be a Form availabe where you have Four or SIX Arms - even if every Arm above the Two usual Ones is only optic and for Style and so on - it should look a lot like that Blades that the Woman from Starcraft has. No kidding.
No Solaire,I sacrificed myself for Oolacile, the real me was dead, the abyss taken over my body, but you to have been controlled as I did,in all timelines,by a small parasite,it takes a hard time to save you,and yes,the only way to kill me is if you have the dlc. But,Ultimately,we always will come back to life, even stronger than before,so yes,I have failed my mission, you did too,you could never find your sun,so,we both have failed, both slaves, both eventually die.
