DARK SOULS II (SotFS): Pursuer. How to beat them easily, every time 

@@CNSninja Roll timing in DS2 is very different to all the other Souls games, especially when you have a lower agility. So sadly the more time you invest in the others and their more effective (in my opinion) roll mechanic, the harder the transition to DS2 will be. This is similar to how the parry window is slightly different for each game as well. I find that if I’ve been playing the other Souls games, it takes me a while to re-adjust to the DS2 roll timing and recall saying that a few times during my guide when I get hit by some attacks since I was also playing Lies of P while recording some of the guide. Most often, you need to start your roll later than in the other games, even with higher agility. By raising the ADP and subsequently raising your agility, the extra I-frames mean you can roll at the same time as the other games, giving you more flexibility incase you do an earlier roll. The higher the agility, the more I-frames you get add to the end of the roll. So the start time is crucial. Hey Porkchop He appears a few times throughout the game as a wraith (darker and with the new attack) after you beat him the first time. He appears in three more areas in lost bastille outside the one shown in this video. once down the ladder in the servants quarters and also in the open courtyard with the 4 dogs and 2 archers. Lastly above that courtyard if you approach from the wharf direction in the small up high corner. If you go down the stairs back to the area you fight smelter demon after you have beaten smelter and rested at a bonfire, then wraith pursuer should appear in the smelter demon arena as well
