Yup. You get to see almost each and every of the bosses tons of other enmies too. I don't think a trailer should reveal so much of the game. I'm glad I didn't see this before the game came out.
@@unknownuser457gll4 It's all Miyazaki bro. That's how it is in Japanese game studios. It's generally one main guy. For example, compare the old Metal Gear games made by Hideo Kojima and the new one that came out after KONAMI kicked him, you will see what I mean.
@@NexusGamer69 it's teamwork. creative art is all about a team working together. Miyazaki and Kojima are the masterminds but having a great team of people who can manifest your creative vision is super crucial
@@aligoudarzi3724 I second this, Miyazaki is undoubtedly the head of the proverbial snake but without his team he basically is nothing if we’re being 100% honest
I know it’s late and all that but in case you don’t know about this and thought you couldn’t admire this trailer anymore, the song they used is really powerful and follows the main theme of Dark Souls as a whole. The song “In the woods somewhere” is a song about a guy contemplating on giving up on his life so that he doesn’t have to keep up the burden of being alive and being alone. The narrator/guy contemplating death lost someone who was very important to him and is in so much pain he decides that night he would give up, but then he goes into the woods as he thought he heard a person crying. He delves deeper in the dark, and when he figures out why there was a cry he found a savage animal about to attack him, in which he metaphorically faced death, and he ran. This encounter changed his outlook and found out that he is too afraid of death and decides to keep moving forward and to keep carrying the pain and burden within him. “In the woods somewhere” he found the will to live on. It’s so symbolic in how they decide to put the song for this trailer as it relates to all the players journey through the Dark Souls series, the message is that despite being in a dark state and experiencing hardship and constant pain you just have to keep going and carry the burden that is life. Amazing part on FromSoft for using such an apt song.
@stevoisus4556 Nope not at all. Except the quirky gaymerz who can't shut up about Dark Souls. I played this game, but it wasn't as big a deal as people make it seem. Get over yourselves.
I would say the thing that FromSoftware does better than any other developer is set a mood. Bloodborne and Dark Souls are both so darkly beautiful, in both artwork and soundtrack. The monsters are so unsettling and creepy, it puts most "horror" games to shame in my opinion. They're worlds that when I see them in a gameplay trailer, I want so badly to dive in and explore them, even if that means staring at 1,000+ "YOU DIED" screens along the way.
Garrus Vakarian I agree, the game actually feels thrilling and trrrifying because you have the capacity to defeat these monsters but you have to be patient and alert so it can give some good spooks
@@scottk1525 I'd argue it does more than build character. It satisfies our primal need to struggle and overcome challenges, always in pursuit of what's over the horizon.
Perfect Song, For a perfect Trailer, For a perfect Game. Edit: I watch this trailer quite often but it was only now I looked at my comment and saw it had almost 2k upvotes! Thank you undead brethren and remember to praise the sun!
Forever Fellow Tarnished, see you in the lands between And I will bet you I will then see you back in a changed Yharnam. Or somewhere that needs Hunters See you there- 👍👍👍
I come back to this trailer every now and then, every time I get goosebumps. Great song for a great trailer. I've played this game many times - alone, with my friends and even with my girlfriend. I don't regret any minute spent in this game. It turned out to be a great help in escaping from the real world when everything was falling on my head and I wanted to forget about it. My father's death, working over 300 hours a month, helping my mother when she was left alone, getting a girl out of a terrible situation. It made me forget all my problems for a while
This trailer is absolutely incredible. One thing that could have made it better though; instead of "all will be revealed" it should have said "all fires fade".
Or "All will be concluded" I mean, we did sort of had a revelation, but that's in the DLC, for those willing to dig into 7 layers of hidden lore to see how it connects to all of the other layers. Or binge watch VaatiVidya.
@@billveusay9423 Almost everything we got was already hinted in DS1 tho. DS3 didn't really reveal anything, it just fleshed more the world and confirmed things previously implied.
Been playing games for many many year and I have to admit that darksouls series has changed the way I looked at games. This series made me come back to gaming and reignited my love and excitement towards gaming even more.
7 years. 7 years since the Dark Souls series concluded. Dark Souls 3 was the perfect ending for the trilogy, and even if the series had it’s ups and downs, it’s still one of the greatest video game franchises out there. Thank you Miyazaki wonderful series, and Kentaro Miura, may he Rest In Peace, for inspiring him to make it.
"Ashen one, hear'est thou my voice still?" "Talking true legends, those who can link to the fire" "You face death, enough death to leave you broken" "To be unkindled has to be a vessel to souls... sovereignless souls will become life strenght" "Tis dark for now..and not a souls stirs" "But remember, fire are known to fade quiet" "And so it is... That ash seek of embers" Like to keep up that cryptic words
Elden Ring is out now friend, what is a lowly hollow like you doing returning to this video? Is it nostalgia you want? Or do you seeketh something else?
It is 2024 and Elden Ring simply cannot hold a candle to DS3. Not with its bosses, level design, weapons, magic, armor, etc. Truly worthy of the title of being the grand finale in the trilogy.
i'm playing through elden ring rn, beat like 3 "main" bosses, and the only one i'd say matches the coolness of ds3 bosses is godrick, his ost sounds awesome
after playing elden ring and shadow of the erd tree dlc i have to say Dark Souls 3 is still my favourite FromSoftgame. Every year I play DS3 on those cold winter nights.
I have probably 1500 hours in dark souls 3 across xbox and playstation, and there's still builds I've never done (dex, sorcerer, quality...), I haven't played through the game in years, but watching this trailer made me so fond remembering friends and playing together with them.
Ok, sold. As I’m about to finish Elden Ring and I’m already upset with that, this will be my go to as I’ve never played these other previous games such as Dark Souls.
I miss the gothic medieval settings ds3 had. Elden ring is great don’t get me wrong. But dark souls 3 had ebvironments that captured me more than Elden ring. Idk, maybe I’m tired riding around Limgrave farming for souls and should actually work on moving forward with the game haha
This trailer showed these many bosses: Abyss Watchers High Lord Wolnir Yhorm Twin Princes Nameless King Pontiff Sulyhvan Deacons of the Deep Vordt of the Boreal Valley Dragon Slayer Armor Old Demon King Oceiros, Consumed King It also showed the ' Link the fire ' ending.
Only a v small part of the ending though, honestly most players once starting prob just thought it was an adaptation of the ember animation or something until the end when they saw what it was
I never stopped playing it since its launch, thus I'm still playing other games, but this is the one I like to get lost in all the time. Very special game.
Которая идеально передаёт атмосферу упадка и депресника. Это намного сложнее подобрать, чем вставить в трейлер очередной "эпический" шаблонный оркестр.
