You meant "reverberated vocalizations", right? OK, I know you did. Yes, it sounds delicious (or enchanting, if you prefer).

I use an original story for my guys based on a story i wrote, so most of what im going to say wont sound like it makes much sense. Im going to play this on my parties' return to the Plain of Light after the chapter Nightfall. This is going to be one hell of an emotional chapter in the campaign, since the party does visit Plain of Light pre Nightfall, so theres going to be a lot of comparisons to the before and after. Before: "as you enter the Plain of Light, you feel a gentle ray of warmth touch your skin, regenerating you and making you feel more whole than you have ever done before. Exhaustion seeps away, as does your fatigue. You see a sea of tall white grass, and when you touch it, you can feel its soft blades seemingly caress you. In the distance you hear the singing of angels, as they flitter high in the sky to and from buildings that are built vertically and not horizontally. But the thing you notice most is that the angels all sing together, like a choir as they fly. After Nightfall: you enter the Plain of Light and there is no warmth. You immediatelly hear no song, and see no patch of grass that is not painted in blood. Buildings lay crumbled and broken upon each other and there is no sensation of peace that can be felt anywhere. Even you can feel it, the weight of their loss. (There is a previous chapter in the story where the Plain of Darkness goes through a similar thing, but the mood is different)

Great question - I haven’t thought about the reason much. Maybe some of us connect with art more knowing the skill, time, and effort that went into making it? I can think of a few other reasons but too many for a youtube comment

For the same reason that art is beautiful in the first place. Every tendril of the human experience leads to every fraction of a piece of artwork created by the artist. Without these ties--through which we are inextricably time-bound--and the sacrifices made, the piece of 'art' is hollow. Like an undead searching for their soul, one might say.@@thisswanwearssocks
