Great video ive had countless memorable moments in DS1 pvp.. i dont remember how many 1000s hrs my characters had logged, but man i loved to just invade invade invade invade.. i would often go put down a white sign after killing someone brutally or repeatedly got them for my invasion and help em out..

i loved the soul of cinder boss fight in the first phase he changes between different play styles then in the second phase he fights like Gwyn with his boss music playing so its like he made a return to defend the first flame once again

I'm the kind of person that knows and accepts i'm terrible at pvp so when I was bored I was invading people in dreg heap and ringed city, i'd run on ahead with chameleon and obscuring ring and so on and would randomly bump into them along the way multiple times cosplaying as the nearest enemy. It can be surprisingly fun just invading and messing around in the randomest ways you can think of. Like an overencumbered havel with dual shields constantly raising and lowering the Anor Londo lift.

It used to be fairly sizable of a group though I think it might have been a bit downsized with some bleed nerfs. The main point of the group wasn't really for 'fairness' so much as trying to revitalize pvp and make things interesting again.

Also last I heard, the player covenants pretty much fell apart from the inside out. And only Zekkai, formerly Sushirainbow, player covenant the Rainbows? Or Rainbow Brigade? Sorry I forgot, I know it's Rainbow something I think. Anyway they're a player covenant for trolls and they outlasted the others, though I think all player covenants are dead now. At least since playing DS3 again I haven't seen anyone on a character in those covenants at all in recent days. I hope Zekkai is doing alright, he hasn't posted in a long time, will say he's likely the most popular French guy in the gaming community or at least in the souls community, that I'm aware of at any rate lol. Still for a laugh I do recommend checking his videos out. If he's been streaming, well sadly I have no pc and he's only played Souls games on pc, so yeah rip. Oh right, rules for Zekkai's covenant are 1. Rainbow in the character name, 2. Make your character a color that isn't human, preferably a color from the Rainbow, 3. Have fun trolling. Pretty sure that's all the rules, hope you guys enjoy

I still get a bunch of blood shade messages in my discord feed. So some people are still doing it. If I were you I’d just do the name and uniform, a bleed build just isn’t good anymore, too bad, the whole point was that you had a whole team of bleed builds for pressure and to punish healing.

I know I'm a month late, but my absolute favorite PvP moment in all of soulsborne was easily a match between me and my friend's characters. We had just beaten the game on co-op, and had completed the Ringed City, so we were around level 120 or so. I ran a strength build, using the Greatsword, whereas my buddy ran a dex one with Friede's scythes. We had decided to commemorate us beating the game, we'd have a match to see who was stronger. The match started, and we took a bit to find each other (we were on the Grand Archives map, I think). We were both cautious at first, as we were both two-handing our weapons, and had no good defenses. I got a decent hit on him with a light attack, but got caught in a full combo of his scythes. Surviving with around a centimeter or so of life, probably around 100 or so, I landed two more light attacks to kill him. I love this because it transitioned from a flashy combo with my friend's scythes to me essentially two shotting him with two big swings of my sword.
