Southern Rock Harp Jam: Switching between a Low D, Wilde Tuned G, and standard C harp (1st, 2nd and 3rd Position for all the harmonica players out there). People always ask what amp/mic/pedals I use to get my rock sound, the truth is that 90% of the tone comes from the player, so to demonstrate that in this video I played entirely acoustic in front of the condenser mic, the same way that you would record a vocal, with just a bit of reverb and delay.

thank you for posting this...ill say my grandfather was ww2 he learned to play in the army and when me and my cousins were little and crying he'd pull out the harmonica and ask for us to jam with him or he'd play a song we would know telling us to sing and already knew all the right notes ...you my dear play very passionate and beautifully it brought tears to my eyes ^-^ never let go of that passion

Hi Will saw that picture of you onstage last night. It just reminds me of playing all over Europe into former East Germany.... Wherever flying from Amsterdam to Stuttgart getting back together with my partner Richard Ray Farrell for a live recording....walking into the joint smelling like stale smoke, piss, beer, puke knowing I was in the right place at the right time.
