CORRECTIONS: 51:53 - The Crawler's attack has a minimum range of 2, so it wouldn't move to be next to a player figure in this case so that it could correctly attack.
What a fun little game! If I'm understanding correctly, at the end when Anjou was next to the crawler, the crawler would have had to move away from her since its minimum range is 2.
Great playthrough! Thanks! I am intrigued by this one. Question, though, at 51:51 should the monster have moved one less? The blue cube is only 1 away, but the attack range is 2 to 4?
At 40:05 you rolled the seismic event. It says that all characters take 1 damage, The monster Zorne doesn't take a point of damage, as it's not a character. Ermine isn't a character either it's a side kick.
It’s cool, but what I don’t like much in these games is that they’re for the 90% tied to luck. But, being simple and quick, I’ve no idea about how to improve that aspect (maybe adding some small modifiers here and there given by experience, or something similar).
Fate Dice. Roll one D20 for each character and companion in the party. Place those dice nearby, Those dice with the numbers rolled can be used throughout the battle. You can replace a roll of any character or companion or a monster. Once used the Fate Die is removed from the game. This way, a high roll is just as valuable as a low roll. Fate intervenes to aid the party.
In first and the second game monster didn't take damage from the stage event. This line has in the rules. (I think we can explain it, that monster in a natural comfortable environment for them, so they know how to avoid stage events, where to hide and etc.)
