Following these guys since sadist. Every album has enough to offer. Deliver has a special place in my life. So well done the sound created from these guys. Darkest hour to tha end
Travis maybe a crazy talented dude but I don't get what you mean by that statement. He's does not sound like he's doing anything spectacular on this record for Darkest Hour. Decent grooves, decent fill-ins. If I'm wrong do suggest what I may have missed.
i get what you mean, but if you have a drummer like travis. who could be one of the best in the world today. then your band is going to get better and progress. it just seems that way, to me at least lol. don't get me wrong, there old drummer did a really good job too.
Fuck yeah pantera shirts and deans I didn't even know and I've been listening since so seated so secure fuck yeah this is why you guys are one of my favorite bands
you remind me scar symmetry "holographic universe" really nice, and the guitarist with the dean has a real nice tone and dimebag darrel sound and playing style
pitakebabinkosto has a point, DennisDeSlager at this point you are picking at shit that DOES NOT need picking. Who gives a crap what hes using? you do know people hear differently right? EVERY product has their own i guess fanbase. That's like me coming here and saying "since when is this shit considered music?" "Real music is Country" people have different tastes dude time to get over yourself. You not liking beats is your opinion others LIKE it.
Victor Enriquez Beats are not known for their audio quality mate, they are more of a fashion statement. I just thought artists wouldn't use them in a studio as they would want to hear themselves without an overkill of bass.
I'm very upset about this album, the clipping is insane and the audio is so brickwalled...props to them for being different and trying such a different and unique album which I really LOVE (minus the quality). But, the mastering is just so damn horrible (it's a bit better in this video, but i'm talking about the album) you can hear how much the drums struggle to breath.. Even go through the sound with Audacity or something it's so compressed and clipped off :(.
Old Miss May I sounded like older Darkest Hour. You're not wrong but your comment sounds ignorant, no offence. Let me clarify. This song sounds like Miss May I's decent debut AFTW (2009) before they started churning out crap. This song also sounds like Darkest Hours - Undoing Ruin (2005) for example. If you analyse the years, you'll figure.
This band is cool. Travis is way beyond all these guys by light years! Travis is the future of drumming, he is original and groundbreakingly genius. I'm not sure what he is doing here, with all due respect,I promise. I am sure he is quite bored.
Levi Boldock I couldn't care less about a blast beat , we are light years beyond blast beats . Speed isn't the dish on the menu in extreme drumming , this music isn't suited to Travis' potential . He is a freak of nature and I enjoy to hear and see him push well beyond the boundries of what's possible . Setting the bar high for gentic potetial .
