Been to 3 shows in Richmond and 1 in DC they're local to the DC/VA area only kicked out of one lol... definitely my all time favorite band, there isn't a close second. They're in DC again tomorrow night and I'm fkn stoked about seeing them again! Circle pit is gonna be nuts.
You too?? Was begining to think it was just me, what with the utter disdain met only by the fear which plagued my girls family when I busted this out at that family get together. "Please, just... for Godsake, another at the funeral..." - that's all their uncouth asses could strain to get out. Just pathetic murmurs about blah blah "funeral this, how could you that". LaaAAaaaAasdiesss, guess who's recently single???? Get me while you can!!!!
This song was my introduction to Darkest Hour. My friend put it on the stereo at my apartment, we were high as hell. I wasn't sure how I felt about it until the song got to @2:12. When I heard that, I literally jumped out of my seat. Up until that point, I'd never really listened to underground stuff and this was the song that started my journey down the metal rabbit hole.
I forgot how much I liked this band. I randomly discovered this band by finding their CD on the sidewalk when I was a young teenager. I took it home downloaded it onto my Xbox 360 not knowing what they would sound like and I have been a fan ever since.
RikiazGaming I love all you people discussing genre all the time. I'm gonna say it's fusion jazz, just to throw it in there, with a little bit of disco
Lyrics this moment marks the severing of sences comatose distinctions the gathering of flies on an irrational mind filled with broken conviction i've seen how lies take form in your eyes your suspicious ways followed a hollow gaze you fucking left me to rot but one day you'll see first hand how i've paid for your biggest mistake sound the surrender embraced in vain what will you gain from this what will you lose secrets hidden behind your back your silence it serenades deceit secrets hidden behind your back your forever ideal fantasy sound the surrended you have gained all you could form this sound the surrender but you've lost the only one
Crazy AF to think Michael Theobold became their guitarist for a time. Holy Shit seeing my highschool neighbor become the lead guitarist for pne of my favorite metal bands ever while serving in Iraq almost gave me a heart attack
John's vocals are so amazing, man, I love his voice!! Very jealous, and god, 0:48.. makes me wanna cry cause it's so beautiful Same with the solo, DAMNNNN
its melodic death metal. similarities with bands like inflames and at the gates. and actually for me when people say metalcore I think early trivium, as i lay diying , all that remains, killswitch engage
@@jaredwilkins4938 I've seen darkest hour like 10 times and met them and talk to them personally they confirmed for me that they are melodic death metal as I even asked him what other melodic death metal bands like them would I enjoy
@@mota2028 this song is actually sound more metalcore-ish. They kinda switch these genres through time. This sounds for me more like early As I Lay Dying
@@ivanmerkushev704 no way I know early as I lay dying and no way it doesn't sound like this lol The closest band darkest hour reminds me of is probably at the gates which makes sense , since they had the singer on for the sadist nadion
I FELL IN LOVE WHEN I LISTEND TO "LOVE AS A WEAPON" AND I THINK EVERY SONG I LISTEN IT'S BETTER THAN THE PREVIOUS, SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH.... ALL MY SUPPORT FROM BARCELONAAAA :D
