Only listened to the album through 4-5 times (plus a couple reactions), but no question in my mind this is the best album or EP Darko has produced. I have very eclectic music taste so really everything worked on here for me. Great balance as an album and track to track. Darko really are their own thing…..best heavy album I have heard this year.
I agree! After listening to this album a bit more, I feel like Starfire is my new favorite Darko album and it will probably be among my top 10 albums for this year unless we get some other insane drops from highly anticipated bands like Loathe, Vildhjarta, etc.
@@ErikGreymane Agreed! A similarly balanced and lengthy Loathe album could easily move into my #1 spot. Heavy with some Deftones/Twin Peaks vibes haha. I love the variety of influences you can hear and metal music right now.
