I made a channel for creepy pastas and my own audio dramas and stories. If you like my narration and want original content, check it out. ru-vid.com/show-UCWdlm5vp1C67_HttXVTa41Q
Always said that you should do more voice work outside of your channel, maybe some mainstream animation flicks. Your voicing the characters makes it all the more better
This story is surprisingly good. Hes like the Vegeta of the DC universe. Full of Pride. Whats interesting is his successor never thought he would have one. Benny we need more Black Adam, even after the hype of the movie is gone
I wasn’t crazy about Black Adam at first, seeing him as little more than evil Superman, but now he’s more like a composer Doctor doom. Both care for their countries and are world ending threats. But where they diverge is that Adam is perfectly content with just his own country and doesn’t on the regular try to conquer the world. 9 tunes out of ten he only joins the bad guys so as to protect his country. So he’s less anti hero and more anti villain.
I’m at issue 5 and I’m not going to lie, it’s a good run so far. Priest is an interesting writer, much like his Deathstroke run, he breaks everything into pieces and presents them in as you read on, but damn if it isn’t a great story once it’s good out on the table. This has made me a real big fan of Black Adam and because of it so far, I’ve been going back and looking at older work and enjoying it
it looks cool but it doesn't make much sense, if it's pre-Dark Crisis then Darkseid should be irrelevant but if it's post-Dark Crisis they are spoiling the story. DC should really stop for a moment and check their continuity and all the currently running stories because they got a lot of unrelated world-ending stuff going simultaneously.
@@austinglass1916 one-offs are usually under the title of Elseworlds or they at least mention clearly that they are not part of the main continuity, and when they are, they usually do not have major implications such as Black Adam sharing his powers and a battle against major villains like Darkseid. It's not that I think they can't write what they want as long as it's good, but with every new thing that comes out, it seems more and more confusing where it fits in continuity, and I'd like clarification
One of my biggest pet pieves with black Adam is then trying to make him an anti hero. For gods are he murdered is nephew just so he could have more power to murder more people. Just write him a the big bad villian we all love IMO
Kind of good to see Adam get his acted kicked. I really love to hate the character of Black Adam. He is well written but I really do not think he is the kind of character that should be idolised.
Its pronounced, however I goddamn want to say it. Why? Because I dont care if it was recently in a movie. I'll say it however I want to say it. Why again you ask? BECAUSE I'M THE GODDAMN BATMAN!!! No wait, IM THE GODDAMN COMICSTORIAN. Anyway all jokes aside, I wont be changing how I've said it for 20 years, consider it an accent or something, but you kne exactly who I was referencing.
@@alfredpennyworth4927 lol, I've seen you around the channel, I figured you understood my humor. I forgot he was in the cartoon lol, either way I've said it that way since I first read about him
I just watched black addam last night it was epic as F!!!!! I think they went a little far with the whole demons 😈 and hell and that stuff but still. I thought the movie was great can't wait for part 2 hopefully with superman in it.
Dude why the police even arrest him and why was there a white supremacist? I hate all the politics. Quit crying and playing victims and just do things bruhhh
So dc still can put out decent artwork. Nice. I'm so tired of these puffy, feminin faces that all look the same, like in the newer young justice books or those shameful ones who tried to make tim n jonathan into bottom bistachezzz.
Race swapping?? Wtf? And it's a story about Black Adam, a head of state, and him finding a successor for that position, how are they supposed to remove politics from a story that involves a big political seat and decision? Politics have been in comics since the golden age, it's nothing new. I get that you're new to comics and don't read much of them, but dismissing a story because you didn't like seeing a white supremacist in the hospital is pretty ridiculous.
@@w1lDstYLe they headed white supremacy and political stuff outside of what is needed, and in the past, politics were less "in your face" than they are today
@@w1lDstYLe the intended audience was Americans and not germans, so putting politics that insult the german side during the war makes sense. But now their audience is on both sides of the political spectrum, and shoving politics that cater to one side while ignoring the other side and basically attacking them by only catering to one side makes people feel alienated and attacked, something that of course, they dislike since they are part of the audience. And if you want to use the "They don't have to be part of the audience" card, don't, because people are usually called r*c*st for not liking it and/or not buying because they knew they won't like it.
