Well each horseman should be unique in their own way. War is a heavy hitting brute, Death is a swifty assasin with fancy magic, so Fury can be fragile and tricky.

DS3 was made by a different studio, Gunfire games sand it’s made by smaller team like an indie type of company size and half the budget DS2 had. It’s a miracle we even get a 3rd installment considering THQ went bankrupt right after DS2

@@luizgustavo8886 Its not about budget the horse wouldnt fit in the style of game they went for, cant think of a single good location where using it would make sense in this games areas

How about literally every single open area around the flooded factory? Or boss battle with Wrath? His arena was humongous. Or even better - the tempest area in Scar? Summoning horse would at least give you a chance of outrunning it, instead of cheap "run to the subway but only at the very specific moment or have fun dying". Locations are not an issue, the Scar could use a little change in scope here and there and it would be perfect as well, especially since horses were never intended to be used all the time, but when they were, it rocked. For that very reason, the dessert area in DS1 is still my favorite in whole series, it's a shame they dropped this feature this time.

@@vercingetorixarvernian5260 which flooded factory u mean? the underwater areas? ud want to use a horse there wtf? the scar was not open at all the entire place consisted of climbing, jumping to other platforms etc the only place u mentioned that it makes sense is that tornado area but honestly who gives a shit i dont see the big deal

@@BoONeo it is actually, the decision of making the world smaller as a big dungeon instead of a more open world was part of the lower budget. So...well that happened. I actually liked it how they made, it showed how much Fury cared about her horse.

Not graphics but animations, content, mechanics I would say yes. However I have it for PC and to this day is so bugged as hell, idk about DS3 bugs, but at least they did an amazing job to keep the quality of everything overall enjoyable, I just hope they have enough money to make the 4th game or else I would kill myself.

@Muad Dib Not resemble Dark Soul even one bit. This game just carries the elements of tons of games before the era of casual hack n slash like GoW. Would you also say Ninja gaiden, DMC... are all Dark Soul clone? Dark Soul just happen to bring that trend popular again, just like how Doom brings the fast-paced FPS trend back after people are fed up with all that BF, CoD...

ds 2 has the 50 millions usd budget.ds3 had less than 20. Ds2 is the simply best game in series

Good story? Damn, the story is the main issue of the game, and the weakest of the series thus far. Stretched out to fill the big scale and justify quests. The last two "worlds" were not good. No exploration, no in-world quests, just their own single main dungeon (+Earth). Also the final boss wasn't very good, especially compared to the previous two (Samael and Archon).

All of them are fun, but in their own way, D3 is the most challenging of them all and I love that alot. But I love D2's combat system as well, still feels challenging, but not so much.

@@LeprosuGnome a maioria que eu vi é tudo não gostando por estar difícil ou mal otimizado. E o jogo só está ruim MESMO nos consoles, pois no pc eu joguei com mais fluidez que o segundo game. Acho que o povo ta jogando outro game, porque eu joguei um game divertido, bem responsivo, com uma ótima soundtrack, um vasto mapa interligado, ótima variedade de monstros, bosses bastante interessantes e uma puta história ótima. Além da fúria que tem muito mais personalidade e crescimento de personagem que os irmãos. É darksiders SIM e de longe um dos melhores, principalmente por ter sido feito com o baixo orçamento que tinham.

@@LeprosuGnome eu zerei e falo a verdade, final meia boca, se vc fizer um final secreto "n falo por spoiler" ai sim vale a pena, mas porra, pra ter um final bom, tem que quase se matar pra fazer, o final normal e tipo novela, mas e bom, mas o 1 ainda foi melhor.

yes I've finished the game, it's definitely a dark souls, but a bad one. In dark souls, u have the pleasure to optimize UR character, but fights are mostly dodge spam and attack sequences, no save, spawn at bonfire camp and monsters respawns. Well, here it's the same but without the character optimization.

No in-depth weapon upgrade system. No characters wandering off and doing things while your out exploring. No two handing. No strength. No dexterity. No vitality. No endurance. No intelligence. The game still has the hack n' slash feels, but it's more strategic and precise, people don't want challenge, they just want to play. I loved the game in every aspect and it didn't feel like playing dark souls, only a modern darksiders game with good story and gameplay. Fury is the best

The single fact that Darksiders 3 has no stamina is reason enough for it to be vastly different from Dark Souls and end the discussion here. Let alone adding to that pre-set weapons with COMBOS instead of hundreds of weapons with limited and specific movesets; No stat requirements (actually no stats at all) in Darksiders 3; No equipment in general, no rings, no independent pieces of armor which, combined with lack of stats, implies no choice of combat style; No block, no parry and no backstab, just a perfect evade. No, the things above are not simply what makes Dark Souls good, they're the very things that make Dark Souls...DARK SOULS. Darksiders 3 has been clearly influenced by the popularity of Dark Souls, and it took several mechanics from it, but it still has too many differences at the CORE to call it a Dark Souls clone with less features.
