So Strife's story would be to helping humanity directly. It could be Strife is the noblest of the four, going around trying to save other worlds. He's busy trying to save the Makers' world, but learns the Earth has fallen. He leaves his pistol with the Makers, and goes to Earth to try to save humanity. There, he would see also how Samael was defeated.

I'm not sure, but i think the Timeline is something like this: Lilith created the Nephilim. The Nephilim created the Grand Abominations and started their crusade. The four betrayed them and fighted they brothers in the gates of Eden with the help of angels. --The abomination vault events --Death's door comic events --The precuel comic events Abbadon ploting gone wrong. Lilith and Lucifer had been conspiring for ages. Tutorial of DS1: The beggining of the Apocalypse and War's defeat. Start of DS2: Death in the Veil seeking the help of the Crowfather. Start of DS4 or maybe all of DS4: Strife doing Strife stuff. Maybe Samael is imprision here. DS3: Fury hunts the Seven. The building of Straga's tower is interrupted. End of DS3: Fury travels with the rest of the humanity yo protect it. Epilogue of DS4 or the "Second act" of it: Strife losing his pistols. One end in the Maker's world. DS2: Death resurrects the humanity (but were they go? Maybe with Fury to another planet like the Horsemaster's one.) DS1: War kills Abbadon DS5: All four horsemen united.

MY QUESTIONS: - what happens to Stife in the end of 3? - how did his pistol Redemption end up at the Forge Lands? - What happened with Fury after she escaped with the humans? - why did stife take on the appearance of a human? - who was the first "Envy" we meet in the beginning? - what happened to those other makers fighting along side Stife? - whats the story gonna be like for Darksiders 4? MY THEORIES: - i dont think Stife may have died at the of of 3, he mustve travelled to the Forge Lands after Earth. - Maybe Stife left the Redemption with the Makers purposely becuase he knew Death journey would lead him there. - Maybe Fury died sometime after the events of 3. or not. maybe she stayed safe this whole time until the 7th seal was broken - maybe Strife knew of the conspiracy with the Council, which is why he took the form of a human to hide from the council and help Earth. - those other makers on Earth probably died - darksiders 4 takes place maybe before 3 then after 3, then after 1 :/ Stife vs fighting the 10 commandments + the 4 vs lucifer, samael, and the council ALSO I do think Fury and Stife died before War is sent on his quest. Maybe the Council knew that Death died, as well with Fury and Stife. So their conspiracy plan was probably going well. The council needed the destroyer gone, so they had War go find out who was responsible for the premature start of the apocalypse and with the other horseman out of the picture, War would not find out about this conspiracy until after defeating the destoyer. But it wouldnt matter because the Council was gonna imprison or kill war anyways. until War outsmarted them with a loophole by dying to be free of the watchers control and knowing Uriel would break the last seal calling all 4 riders back.

Damn strife He stole the show from fury😂 He had the guts to speak with fury from the first time and i was surprised how a human can have the guts to talk like that Then when he saved fury (i bet its gonna be a mission ds4) damn son Best way to introduce a character She learned her lesson in the hard way Knowing she was wrong about her brothers mankind and herself But i still hate her That cameo was badass as hell I can smell serious dante outta strife and i hope they are inspired by dmc And bits of doom in special places For DS4 Ma boy strife will rock it like hell Good game not as good as the previous ones but a solid return tbh

My favourite thing about Envy's design is she looks like a bad Darksiders OC you might see on Deviantart. That sounds negative but it fits her character so well I think it's kind of cool. She's wearing Death's mask and a red hood like War, as well as having four arms specifically so she can hold a big sword like War, a scythe like Death and a pair of guns like Strife. She's a huge horseman fangirl and she looks perfect for the part. The only one of the 4 horsemen not represented in her design is Fury. Probably because of the game's theme of Fury bettering herself and breaking out of her reputation as the weakest/least favored horseman. Envy didn't think much of Fury compared to her brothers so she didn't bother ripping her off but ended up getting her ass kicked by her in the end. Or maybe I'm giving Envy's character designer a little too much credit and they just thought a green four-armed lady loaded to the gills with a ton of weapons looked cool? Which, to be fair, it kinda does.

Wait, this game is a prequel to the Original darksiders. Holy balls!!! That would explain Abbadon.

So Lucifer's pulling the strings, still? Predictable! I think it'll get all the horsemen to beat him in the final game!

I hope we will get a Darksiders 4 with Strife's storyline, and a Darksiders 5 where all the 4 are gonna kick Lucifer's ass

Whoever wrote the dialogue needs to learn that less is more. Edit: Don't get me wrong the game seems like a roller coaster of great dialogue and moments with other parts leaving you asking WTH were they thinking. For example, when Fury says "for the horsemen," She's beaten Envy. It's the end of the boss fight, but Fury get's knocked down and doesn't get up. Envy just starts screaming how she lost even though she just got the upper hand and has her hands on Fury's neck. This was a moment where Nordic should have paid attention to all the other major boss fights and have the players just pull off a mini game execution. No rambling (especially from Envy), no out of place rallying cries(for yourself), just kill the boss with brutality and style.

Wars story is about him bringing peace to the world. Deaths story is about him bringing life back to humanity. Fury's story is about her learning to quell her wraith and that of the wicked.

Since Darksiders 1 to 3 the Horsemans are feed Demon Vulgrim by giving millions souls! With so many souls that Vulgrim has collected, I wonder how powerful a demon will be. Maybe we are gonna see Demon Vulgrim can be a boss character in Darksiders 4 ?!

She had a great evolution trhought the game and she was sooo badass. Loved her, just the kind of female character we deserve. Main, powerfull, with a development and with guts

DS 2 & 3 happens in between DS 1. what confuses me is why the council let war clear his name when fury has already realised they betrayed the balance.

Well, it ALL makes sense now. With Envy masquerading as a watcher using Fury to get the amulet and power of the 7 deadly sins to usurp the Council, the Charred council binded a REAL watcher this time to War and gave him the power to restrain War or kill War incase he stepped outta line in Darksiders 1. Darksiders 3 ends with FURY and the surviving humans heading to someplace safe where the Council cannot find em, she told Uthane to find War which eludes to Darksiders 1. Strife and 2 of the Makers are defending Haven but he soon became MIA. Darksiders 2 events was happening at the same time with Death seeking out to clear War”s name and rooting out the corruption. Only WAR was the only horseman to be apprehended by the council and thus he was released by his 100 years imprisonments and Darksiders 1 began with Earth already ravaged and ruled mostly by the Demon legion and majority of mankind wiped out

so im guessing darksiders 3 happens 1st and then 4 (probably about strife) then 2 and finally 1

Darksiders 1 Prologue -> War is blamed and imprisoned -> War is inactive for 100 years The three other horsemen start doing their own thing and the Destroyer takes over Earth Darksiders 2 (Shows what Death is doing) and Darksiders 3 (Shows what Fury is doing) happen during the 100 years. However I think Darksiders 3 starts a bit earlier because there are more humans alive. In Darksiders 2 there was "The Hunter" who was called one of the very last humans still alive. War is released after 100 years -> Darksiders 1 happens, then Darksiders 1 Ending -> War reunites the four Horsemen Darksiders 4 with Strife maybe shows us what Strife did during Wars Improsonment. So if Darksiders 4 shows what Strife did during those 100 years, then Darksiders 5 with all 4 Horsemen will be the final game of the series against the big bad guy of the series, Lucifer. That was the original plan I think. 4 games for every horsemen and then the big finale.

So Strife's story is likely now 1st and meshes timelines with Fury (here). So the final order will be: 1) Strife 2) Fury 3) Death 4) War (due to him calling the 4 at the end) However War does kick it all off and then appears to not return for several centuries thus being the final story, breaking the seal and calling all 4 together.

I KNEW that one human refugee was Strife!!! Just from how he was always trying to talk sense into her and didn't care what she said. So it LOOKS like the storyline goes DS1 tutorial,DS4 Tutorial....maybe?? DS3, DS4, DS2, DS1 and then the finale. I think part of DS4 is gonna play out before DS3 due to the fact they stated he was already attending to "other matters" so they called strife first, maybe because he maybe the most level headed of them all and sent him out to help protect the humans, death heard and set out on his own mission not contacting the council, they call Fury for DS3, then the Rest of DS4 happens, then DS2 finally rounds up seeing as Death ends up with one of Strife pistols and his story clears out, DS1 happens finally and WAR has Strife's other 4 barrel pistol finished the game and that's where we end up. Thing about that is how I think they may wrap this up, Strife comes in contact with Lucifer gets beaten looses his guns. The final game may have the fact the Lucifer may have had some influence on the Charred council that set all this in motion, that's why Samael was imprisoned so he won't be in the way, possible defeated by Strife that's how he lost his pistols in the battle. But I wonder if when Death went back to get the Key that little quip about sometimes the hero dies in the end...could he have been talking about Strife? Everybody assumed it was war but how else would strife have lost his weapons. Nut back to the plot abbadon knew something was wrong , which was stated in the first game as to why they broke the seal. So it'll be the Horseman Vs Lucifer as the finally they beat him, breaks the bad influence on the council, balance is restored as the council is free and the the Horseman go back to work to bring the peace back

So Envy pretty much wants to be like the horsemen? That's why she fights like them and uses moves and weapons similar to them. Strife's guns, War's bigass blade, Death's Scythe.

Oh, and what a glorious return for the Destroyer!!! Looked badass!!!

I hope they will do a Darksiders 4 with Strife, explaining how he know about the Councils betrayal and is plans to save humanity.

Here my theory if you wanna hear people. Darksiders 2 was happened and darksiders 3 before darksiders 1. Death Was need Help His Brother "War" But hes die in soul of wells to Save Humanity. Fury was commaned to Mission For killing Every Boss But She Choose to save Humanity too. She didnt want listen for being commanded. And So Fury Saw Guy With Hood that hes shooting was Strife. (Darksiders 4 May Happened Too Before Darksiders 1.) And i forget something. When She Broke Six Amulent Stone to Summon Three Horsemen. (Spoiler: War didnt get sent and being chained at Darksiders 3 Or 1.)

Ok, this ending is confusing. First off, the council didn't have a hand in the premature Armageddon. Second, humanity was wiped out, Death had to die to bring them back. Third, Strife doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would just hang out and protect human survivors, unless the councol ordered him to. I mean, this game seems awesome, but it also seems like a retcon, and the other stories don't need to be, nor do i want them to be, retconned.

The way these games are set up it seems each one is going backwards in time with the timeline now being DS3 -> DS2 -> DS1. We know by DS2 Strife has already lost both his guns (most likely during this ending battle defending the gate or sometime after the fight before DS2) and they are obtained by Death and War in DS2 and DS1 so I am assuming D4 will focus on how Strife ended up where he is now in DS3 and disguised as a Human show how he became close to Humans while also learning of what makes them strong.

Idea for Strife weapons and move sets Sword and gun combat like HeavyMetal Fakk2 game, also a bit of air juggles like DMC Claw in both hands, makes you crawl on walls like Soulreaver Horse riding , since now they have groundwork done on main engine Wallrun, Float, Double jump Wat else?

Just make a full movie of all the 4 Darksider games to give us something good to watch, movies are not like they used to be so a movie based in the 4 games and the comics will make a big impact. It can be called Sins happen not tradegies, a story of 4 horsemen, 1 Council, a fight between heaven and hell, and only one champion will stand. I will pay to watch it. Also a tv series will be better than anything on Netflix or on TV

Quick question, Im looking at buying this, but is that all she does for combat? Or are you not using other combos/spells? Cause if so, you need to use more to make your gameplay enjoyable to watch. But if its not, then I wont bother buying it. (Constructive criticism, not a jab btw)

I just discovered I'm envy , cause i had a dream of destroying the council for manipulating the 4 horsemen using every enemy i faced in darksiders 2 , i didn't use envy skill i created new ones

So the to put things in order. DS1 Prologue is the beginning then after War dies events of DS2 transpire and Fury sees War in chains before the Charred Council. This means that Fury has been dispatched to hunt for The Deadly Seven before her brother War has been sent back to Earth to defeat Abaddon. Strife showing up in the end means that events of DS4 will take place before the original DS1. How? Let me tell you. Strice fights the Demon horde together with Makers and leaves Ulthane his pistol Mercy for War to use duri g his quest. Then he uses the reflecting mirror that Fury used to travel to Makers' homeworld where he could be "defeated" by Absolom. That is why Death finds Redemption the revolver handgun. The events of DS2 then lead to ressurection of Humanity and War defeats the Destroyer at the same time. Then after War is killed by Uriel his actions lead to deatruction of the Seventh Seal. Thus bringing Death and possibly Strife back to life and taking Fury from the humans she protected. So the ending of DS1 is the last thing we know of. My opinions: DS4 will have indirect connection to start of original DS1 since Strife feeds on conflict between Hell and Heaven and pushes Heaven to creation of the fake seal. It makes sense if you think about it.

From the gameplay, in my opinion, DS3 is the best of the series so far..

Finished the game now waiting to Darksiders IV.

It would be awesome if Strife ever got his own game.

Don't get me wrong,I'm happy we finally got a DS 3 game,Fury is cool and the story expanded the lore and the universe,BUT the gameplay and specially the combat system,is lackluster. It's like a more clunky version of the combat system of Dark Souls,basically the entire combat system is:attack,dogde,attack,heal,attack,dodge,repeat. The first 2 games had a great combat system,where you could attack and move fast,combine weapons/attacks on the fly and it felt really fliud,not to mention the cool finishers. Fury should have been moving like a whirlwind of death,spinning her wip around,instead she's slow and clunky af.

fuck, so this probably means that Strife dies and hands one of the guns to Ulthane, that explains why ulthane had one of them and gave it to war. This game is so damn epic!!! i just wish there was a bit more description in terms of continuity like an actual timeline, because obviously this is happening before DS1 and DS2 since they are under the impression that corruption is spreading and the destroyer rules the world, so how many more years before war is released by the council and death defeats absalom???
