@@Donker449 As far as I've seen it's "only" War and Strife, the cover art posted on the socials also only shows those two. From what I've gathered so far, it would seem Strife is the playable one. But whatever they have panned for E3 might completely change that perspective.

@@Donker449 I mistook Strife for Fury when I first watched the trailer, his cape looked like her hair for the split second it was on screen. Might have been something like that, or, he's janking our chain.

@@Ennjoying I seriously doubt that it's from the soundtrack. Most trialer music comes from trailer music composers, so don't expect it to be in the game. Sounds really good though.

@@Hynotama The true developer team of Darksider is working at gunfire games if I am right. They were the people who made the third game. So you can still have your hope that they are still working on that title. And this is something to hold you until the 4th game comes out.

My only fear is that it will be a port of a mobile game (switch) instead of the other way around. Meaning, shitty PC gameplay, typical shitty mobile level graphics, etc.

@@jayhovah5621 Yes, DS3 get overall bad reviews ( personally i love it ) and 6 years gap between DS2 and 3 was pretty much almost closed franscise, that is why i praise this new ip and new fresh camera view, i love Darksiders series and cannot wait for this and future games :-)

I may not be a good judge anymore, I wanted God of war to last me, so i went into god mode blind on my first playthrough and man did that really enhance my play ability 😅 I'm also a huge fan of a metroidvania (Castelvania lords of shadow 2 was criminally underrated)... The game took me about two weeks on the second hardest mode

Strife needs a solo tribute though...not a spin-off or prequel..just like the other 3 horseman...he deserves a solo title. But damn the whole DrS universe is truely awesome.

@@0mair Probably part of the official OST. My guess is that it will drop as soon as the game releases. There's a similar, albeit slower version of it that plays during the menu.

Your making the assumption that THQ Nordic are struggling for money although they have lower funds than they used to, Darksiders 3 actually sold well enough to keep them going for awhile it won't get cancelled

In the trailer you can see Strife fighting along side War so I do think it's coop

It's 2 player co-op and you can also play solo, you play with both Strife and War.

That's a lock. You can count on it.

When in fact on scale of hundreds if not thousands of worlds the setting is supposed to have it's not much more important then Taiwan in scale. Yes, it is important in political sense, but in many other terms it's still one small island:D

@@joshmerrel8846 That could be lots of fun, provided that there will be a comprehensively and intuitively implemented way for the character swaps to function mid-game. It will be difficult to pull off for sure if that is what they will attempt. I'm really excited though! Maybe DS Genesis is the studio's first try on a DS multiplayer game to take also notes for the DS IV.

Some of his personality was shown in DS3 if you played it. He protected humanity, basically helped Fury and makers to save them. All of this in a disguise as a man. He looks badass here too ;)

From what I know and what I’ve seen from DS3, Strife and Fury are the middle children of the bunch. Through some attributes, I’m guessing Strife’s the older sibling between the two.

NIGHDI agree on all except the coop and that’s be my ideal darksiders game. And throw some interconnected level design with areas locked off until you get certain upgrades/gadgets/items and a story that brings more (interesting) personality to the horsemen and its a masterpiece.

Hexa1 They change the voice of every character in the game, War doesn’t have the same voice in 2 and 3 than 1 and Death hasn’t the same voice in 3 than in 2 it’s annoying.

All three Darksiders games have been different in gameplay style, so what to you is a real Darksiders game?

Ser Uresto 3Rd person action adventure game (hack and slash) with openish level design and progression and puzzles that get more complex as you introduce new gadgets and whatnot. Basically like what they said a mix between ratchet and clank, legend of Zelda and devil may cry. They can differ in combat styles bec each of the four horsemen should play slightly different from one another but they should remain consistent in their fundamental ideas. This is my interpretation. Not saying this will be a bad game by any means, in fact it could be great. It’s just not a real full darksiders game but it is a unique departure and if some fans or whatnot like it, cool, I’m glad it appeals to them. It just doesn’t appeal to me as a darksiders fan. Not interested but fine with its existence. Not gonna complain and say it shouldn’t exist. I just hope we do get a real darksiders game where we get to play as Strife eventually.

@@shiftyjim4138 I think we will. The spinoff might be for reasons such as tests, and of course income. I like both the Diablo style as well as their 3'rd person cam, so I'm definitely getting this too.

I do hope it’ll help them in some way when it comes to making darksiders 4 (and hopefully release it in a better state than Darksiders 3 when it comes to the performance and polish and whatnot).
