New WR by Henyk: • Darksiders All Chosen ... Improvement over the previous record thanks to new strats. Execution, especially early on, needs a lot of work. Got slow horse arena, going to have to test some more things in there.
that was insane bro. i am a huge fan of the darksiders series. i hope you do a run on the upcoming darksiders 4 :). heres a sub and keep doing what u do.
Once I grab the fragments, the game autosaves that piece. So, then I can just reload the autosave to teleport closer to Vulgrim and still have the piece. The rapid firing on the eagle in the autoscroller is a weird trick with the PC version and overlapping keybinds. It basically makes it shoot the normal shots on every frame, no idea why it works, someone else had found it. You can check out my speedrun tutorial for how to do dashes and stuff. It's great that this looks like TAS, but there was obviously room for improvement since this record got beaten recently. Thanks for watching!
Are you using mods? I'm trying to do this on the Xbox 360 but I can't seem to replicate your rapid dashes and your rapid attacks, such as used on the Phantom General shortly before freeing Samael.
Is this a tas run? Cause moving that quick so fluently without a eff up is phenomenal... if it isnt a tas run let me know how you did the dash so quick... is it like a dash/block cancel?
The timer on top is measuring realtime, but we track records with in-game time to account for loading screens and stuff. So at the end of the video when I view the save files, the autosave after the last boss is beaten is the time in the title.
By doing the jump over the golem in the prologue, you skip one of the weakening cutscenes. This lets War keep his powers for the rest of the intro and have extra health in the main story.
Well, it's all doable on console as well, just much slower because of the input method. I've done runs on both PS3 and Xbox 360. There's just two small route changes, but it still uses infinite jump to go all over the map.
Sorry but I cannot understand how exploiting glitches in a game is a fair "speed run". I'd consider a speed run done in as fast a time as possible playing the game legitimately. This is ridiculous.
Playing the game "legitimately" is boring. I like watching and doing speedruns where nothing you do could be done by someone their first time through. If you want a normal playthrough, there are tons of videos of that already. It ends up being "this person knows where to walk and how to push the boxes correctly for this puzzle." I did a 4-hour glitchless run and really did not enjoy it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2iUtqfad5rc.html
