Darkstalkers (U.S. Cartoon Re-animated) - Magic Masters

This was one of my projects for my Motion Graphics class back in 2019. I had to find a minute long clip from wherever and re-animate it using After Effects puppet rig animations. This was my second time ever creating and animating puppet rig characters after the first project! (^_^)
Like my previous motion graphics project, I chose to use a clip from the goofy as hell American Darkstalkers cartoon. This show is a treasure trove of dumb and I can't help but love it. They butchered everyone in the series' cast haha. Darkstalkers seriously can't catch a break huh? (T~T)

Considering Morrigan is canonically Scottish, the TV show is technically very accurate.

It's kind of sad that out of all Darkstalkers media that exists, the only one that got Morrigan's accent correctly was the mediocre US cartoon

The animation and comedy use of the original dialogue really elevates this in tone a bit to newer shows like Ducktales and Gravity Falls, I easily get 2017 Magica De Spell vibes from Morrigan's voice combined with her model here.

i remember seeing a re run of these show....like i was 2 or 3. don't remember what channel but these show hunts me. and yes i am a Darkstalkers fan and Darkstalkers was my gateway to anime.... and making me remember these old cartoon making me go "oh so i was not having a fever dream of cat women grabbing a kid and jumping out of a window...."

I'm actually surprised you could find a clip long enough from this cartoon to re-animate and have it make sense, but you were able to do it for two clips for this show. With your animation...this actually does give the clips the intended vibe the writers were going for, quirky comedic with a hint of edge. Then again, it does highlight that as poorly animated and even written this show was at times, the actors did put effort into their lines.

Wow, you "re-animated" a scene from the notarious Darkstalkers cartoon? Well, I do quite like your redesigns of Harry and Morrigan. They work nicely with the show's quirky stylization. I guess it's just nice to see some love for the franchise. Otherwise, it would "succ-a-bit", right? (Sorry, I'll stop with the dry puns :])

Una de las razones por la cual prefiero el anime, es que no muestran el mundo del makai y de que morrigan es la cabeza de la familia aensland que practicamente la vuelve la reina del makai. Y en la caricatura de usa, es la desendiente de morgan la fay, cosa que no tiene sentido por ella es una sucubo y morgana una humana, asi que no se que mierda se inventarian para justificar eso.
