Great system for load testing you have Dave; it not only shows pattern density, but also a pretty good estimation of lethality of the shell based on penetration on the CD. Dave, very good video as always . It would be intresting if you could test cartridges from HUL, Lyalvale Express , Gamebore and other popular brands on the market. I would like to see a comparison test between UK4 and UK5 in 12 bore, weights 32, 34 and 36 gram.

Great film Dave, I always like your cartridge tests. I must admit I don't pattern test my gun or cartridges, may be I should. I shoot a 30" Browning 525, choked 1/2 and 1/2. I do shoot various makes of cartridge, but 1 that I like is Gamebore velocity 28g 7.5 in fibre. At club level you wouldn't get a better cartridge. Anyway Dave, hope you are well, thanks for another film and the goatie suits you 🖒. Cheers for now.

Always follow your ballistics with some interest but when are going to give some steel cartridges a trial?

Is it not true that with Gamebore cartridges the shot size is continental, so that in fact you have tested UK shot size 6?
