Watching this video reminds me of the videos an instructor made for us when Covid changed in-person classes to online when I was going for my degree in industrial electronics a year or so back. You really remind me of him.
I would like to add, that with darlingtons we usually place resistors across base and emitter, which helps removing the stored charge, and increases the working frequency of the darlington circuit. It also decreases leakage current. Usually the first resistor is in k ohm range, while the second is in 100 ohms range. Thanks. Yes, about 83K is what I thought also. This tester was not designed to measure Darlington transistors. But it does show a significant increase in the Beta, which is my only purpose for this video. I may do another and measure the current to calculate the Beta, I have not done this for many years.
