The Steelers drafted 6'7 270lb monster TE Darnell Washington out of Georgia with their 3rd round selection. Washington is an excellent blocker and a matchup nightmare for defenses with his size and athleticism. Him and Muth will be a scary duo in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh offense is going to be so scary good and I can’t wait till they start to light up defenses especially with Pickett having a year under his belt now. I could see Washington blocking for Muth in a double tight end set! These two are gonna wreak havoc!!!

Another great pick by the Steelers. Washington is the best blocking TE in this class and will be perfect alongside Friermuth. Can't believe he fell that far even with the knee injury

Never had a knee injury. Foot/ankle in college. After pro day he had SWELLING in the knees, while being dominate in his play. I think with Pittsburghs elite medical staff, he will be fine.

Darnell Washington is the best blocking tight end in the draft.He is a 6"7 264 monster that can catch and jump over defenders.he is extra offensive lineman.If he put in the work he can be an elite tightend especially in the red zone for tds.Kenny will have a field day with him.Omar must have a crystal ball because he is getting good players through the whole draft.het hit a hr.
