Darrell Brooks debated with Judge Jennifer Dorow before the jury was brought into the courtroom to hear his closing argument during the Waukesha Christmas Parade trial.
The fact that this guy is so full of himself that he thought he could convince the jury in that community to just let him go. The delusion, narcissism, victim mentality, I’ve been bullying people to get my way my whole life, is strong with this one.
The jury saw firsthand how he disrespected the judge, witnesses, and everyone else, when he unnecessarily, intentionally squandered/wasted extensive time! 😂😂😂 Stupido constantly revealed his arrogance, savagery, and lack of civility, proving his real horrendous character!! 😂😂😂 Laughable how he hung himself!😂😂😂 Loved it!! 😂🎉😂
Yeah I know it would have been wrong and it would have been the wrong thing to do... but I think it would have been funny to have him inform them of their right to nullify and THEN have them all come back with guilty verdicts anyway..
He doesn't deserve the death penalty. He deserved all 2000 years she gave his dumb ass and he needs to serve them in general population for killing children so the other convicts can BEAT HIS ASS daily!!!
He’s also a mental midget. You can see when he thinks he says something smart vs when he’s just acting dumb and he not once in this trial said anything that indicated his IQ was above room temperature but he sees himself as a genius AND Jesus like. Wish there was a death penalty.
*Darrel Brooks addressing the jury* "The state wants to keep this information from u, but the fact is, you all have the power to release me..." Jurors: 😆😂🤣🤭😂🤣😄😆😂🤣😆😂
This is a very underrated comment because I don’t think anybody else noticed but there’s 12 happy faces and they’re each doing something different to show each individual juror that’s not just funny that’s intelligent comedy
Power vs Right: Just because you may have the *POWER* to murder someone doesn't mean you have the *RIGHT* to. The jury may have the *POWER* to nullify the law, but they don't have the *RIGHT* to. The human who doesn't consent to being called "Darrell Brooks" (🙄) may have the *POWER* to tell the jury they have the *POWER* to nullify the law, but it doesn't mean he has the *RIGHT* to tell them.
So true! You said exactly what I was thinking. We have the power to kill ,rob , sexually abuse, destroy, and a long list of negative things , but under the law we do not have the right. The fact that this 🤡 clown only heard power is an indication of his communication skills. He hears only what he wants to hear.not the whole stae MMB
apparently his mom's address got leaked online, she lives south of waukesha by Fox River Church. Someone is going to hurt her and i would pay money to see this guy's reaction when his only supporter is taken from him.
For real! Whenever he is rambling and interrupting I think about how the stenographer does it because it seems impossible. Also wondering, whenever he says asked instead of asked do they write how he said it or what should actually said
In what case does he think the jury would disregard and nullify a law forbidding someone from deliberately running down people? What would justify such a heinous act?
It’s not about her ego..she truly respects the victims and their families, and would clearly never jeopardise the process of justice. She deserves a nice vacation!
She had to believe it or not”. She made sure there would be no mistrial !🤗. It took me time to figure it out but She definitely covered all bases and God knows She had to have the patience of Job to get through it. Im very proud of Judge J Dorow. We need more like Her🙏🇺🇸🤗
He was still arguing that bs after he “ was soooo upset “ after medical examiner talked about sweet little Jackson spark’s autopsy, and after they were all shown the video of him striking all victims. Someone was literally wailing and he throws that statement out at the end. He is the absolute most vile, arrogant, disrespectful and DISGUSTING sorry excuse for a human being ever to exist. Bless those victims and family and friends of the victims, I have to say I’m not strong enough to be able to sit there that close to that pile of rot, and not kill him.. or try at least. Lol. They are so incredibly brave and strong to be able to do that. With all that being said, my thoughts and prayers go out to all victims and all loved ones of the victims. Karma is coming…. And FAST.. for this bastard.
I don't think that he knows that he is pissing off the jury. The jury can't even go for a coffee due to not knowing how long they have to wait outside the court.
@@loridennis2989 no, he knows exactly what he’s doing. Problem is that he thinks it’s working. He thinks he is a “god fearing man who truly cares about people, is a loving father, and is just trying to go home after having himself suffered at the hands of this crime.” Truth is, he lives opposite of the Bible and uses it as a prop. He has no regard of human life and will take out anyone or anything in his way. He will then lie and save himself after running over 100s of people will his vehicle. He has 4 kids by 4 different women, 2 of those living in states far away from him. He SA’d a minor and impregnated her and was found guilty of it (Erika Patterson). He owes thousands of dollars in back child support, but he “loves his kids”. He thinks serving a year in jail waiting for this trial should be enough punishment and that the jury should just let him go home because he supposedly suffered too. He just wants to be back on the streets, committing crimes, not getting a job, doing drugs, living with mommy, knocking up more women and not taking care of his children. He should’ve been swallowed at the least but if not he deserves one bullet to end all of the suffering from the victims. He isn’t going to learn a lesson in jail. He is a known gang member and will be well protected in jail. All he is going to do is waste more of the hard working tax payers money getting a free ride with 3 hots and a cot for the rest of his life. Save the money and end him.
The way he talks to that judge is disgusting! He should get thrown in the hole everyday when he leaves the courthouse . . I know why she put up with it but it’s a shame he didn’t get some kind of punishment for his disrespect.
Remember I said this,....District Attorney Sue Opper will be a judge or Mayor within the next two years. She is a remarkable DA! She played no games with this fool and did it with her eyes closed!
My ex was just like this. They argue so much that people give up and they think they won. And so they think they can argue their way out of everything.
Someone please give this judge an award for getting through this case. Darrell Brooks is a true narcissist. The amount of restraint this judge has used shows how serious she takes her job and to make sure this man cannot appeal. Bravo judge👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Judge knew very well where this case is heading to and she played very well all along..We all saw how angry he got sometime, because he was surprised why his tactics not working on Judge... He has no idea how prison work..His consent will not work.in late night hours..... Lolzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..
Does he try to mispronounce words? He also doesn’t know the definition of half of the words he uses. He is a walking indictment of our educational system.
Nope he isn't doing that intentionally. I want troof, let me axe you something, I swear there are so many I truly had to think the judge or at least Teresa and you know the DA's were all sitting there in their heads saying to themselves, you are going to make BUBBA so happy!
He really thinks he can interpret the law better than judge Dorow, The nerve of him, Put this buffoon under the jail with his phony law books. His dad should have made his mom swallow, then we would not have a Darrell brooks.😮
This guy doesn't even understand that the state can bring charges against someone. 🤣. Or how he called himself the alleged defendant. Dude you're not the alleged defendant. You are the defendant. Period. Haha
@jasonwebb5964 I can’t tell you how many times I’ve said that very thing… He’s not the “alleged” defendant… Even if you’re being wrongly accused and go to trial, you ARE the defendant…🤦🏻♀️😵💫🤪
I think he is more-so proud of her for being able to keep composure and giving the victim’s families and the community the justice they all deserve instead of allowing her anger and emotions get the best of her and possibly leading to a mistrial or anything shy of a guilty verdict on all counts.
good point, but I am sure he is recognizing her 'mad mommy' voice that she has used on scolding his children...although they probably behaved and learned. This guy doesn't, since he has been doing this his whole life. That's what happens when you never teach children accountability. She played his game well...check and mate. while he was playing tiddly winks
She was not about to take the witness stand to be questioned by him bc she knows there would be cross examination. She doesn't want her "dirty laundry" aired world wide. Prosecution would destroy her and point out to the world that she should be held a countable for her enabling ways. She's probably singing with joy that she's no longer going to get calls to bail him out of all his crimes.
Well technically it was his will. I say that because he was apprehended and sentenced to 6 life plus 780 years See the big guy makes sure you pay your dues before you get to his final judgment. And I truly believe that God is going to keep him down here for a good while as a punishment.
Do you see how this despicable human being is sitting there in front of that monitor adjusted his tie and primping Lucky's getting ready to go on a date completely ignoring the judge he is so repulsive makes my skin crawl
There were two instances of insulting him verbally and there was an instance of a lady who gave him the finger and Brooks alleged that she was somebody from the jury. But that was all. In both cases of the insults the members of the public were expelled from the court room.
They don't do it because they are law abiding citizens. The people in that courtroom were all respectful as they watched and heard Darrell Brooks make a total fool of himself.
Man this judge had so much patience. Messing with me this would’ve been a 3 year trial because I would’ve kept kicking him out 😂. Pat on the back to her 🗣️🗣️
I understand why she kept bringing him to prevent a m8strial but at the same time she wanted some closure for the families. He'll keep scream8ng for an appeal until he rots away in prison or another lifer slowly beats the life out if him
During sentencing, she mentioned something about not being a "doctorate level psychologist" or something similar, from which I infer she has some training in psychology. That would explain why she demonstrated so much patience while simultaneously propelling the trial forward despite Brooks' constant interruptions. She pretty much adopted a "momma" persona to deal with him, and he actually responded to that most of the time. Notice that he always refers to her as "your Honor", never calling her by her proper name.
@@kadejito1 I feel like the judge was so patient with this idiot simply so millions of people can see what this guy is all about, and to create a shining example of how a true professional judge handles a case in court.
I think if i had to deal with him, Judge or not, I think i would be serving time for kicking the crap out of him, This Judge showed patience that was off the charts.
I want to know who put a bug in his ear about lawful law and sovereign citizen, subject jurisdiction because I can't see him coming up with that alone. As he said to Sue Opper, "Frankly you're not that bright." Right back at you ,Darrell ,solicitor extraordinaire.
He could talk to the jury for eternity about jury nullification but no one in their right mind would even consider that for a second! Fr I think attorney Opper was willing to risk it because she knew that Darrell Brooks basically handed himself the maximum scentence with his conduct. Who was really gonna be like “oh shit we can ignore the law and let Darrell Brooks go!? He’s such a great guy let’s do that!” Na. I’d throw him in jail for life even if he hadn’t run through the parade just to save the world from hearing him open his mouth ever again! He’s a joke

No wonder I hate him so much. *Edit: I don't know how I missed it all long but I just realized that he says "substained" instead of "sustained", so I went ahead and added it to the list. I was dead wrong about this DA. She is trying just as hard as the judge to make sure nobody's rights are violated, and I absolutely respect that. There is no way this could become a mistrial because of Brooks rights being infringed upon. It's impressive because 5 minutes in? I wanted to throw something at his head..lol!! Amazing professionalism.
His mother & grandmother should be so proud of the baby boy they raised. He’s not mentally ill, his an entitled brat. And those women are responsible for this piece of dung
I would of straight up looked at the prosecution team and said “the prosecutors you cannot bring up the topic of jury nullification either” once he started going off about how he’s the only one under those rules. The paitence of this judge. God made her good.
The prosecutors know that, they went to law school. Jury nullification is assumed and within the authority of the jury but never discussed with the jury.
If only this judge would have realized from the moment he walked into the room that he was now in charge. Everything she thought she knew was wrong. He said so therefore it is so. Period.
"Based on my outstanding behavior and legal performance, I expect you to ignore the law that says dont murder, and find me innocent of killing all these innocent people. Mmm' k? Thanks!" ---Dude that is not Darrell or his other brother Darrell.
Logically it makes no sense but he is so giddy happy and confident about this opportunity he has to argue jury nullification you believe for a second that it might be possible.
@@Jeremy_the_bot he 100% watched that one viral video that said if the jury even knows about it that could cause a mistrial and thought that it was legit. Mans got sub room temperature IQ.
This is a narcissistic bully! To me this shows he has intimidated and bullied people his entire life to get what he wants! And it finally didn't work. I understand why the judge was so unbelievably patient this entire trial and that is to make sure he doesn't get granted a new trial on appeal. She has been criticized for going along with him so much and not being more firm with him, but that is to make sure he doesn't get a new trial on appeal. A common tactic for defendants found guilty on high publicity crimes and trials. They always file an appeal on the claim of judge or jury bias due to the high profile nature of the crime and case. She was ridiculously patient so that he doesn't get anywhere on appeal.
I really can't understand how any proper jury would ever consider any concept of NULLIFICATION !!!! To dismiss a fact of murder is totally out of the question !!!!!!
No one really knows what his defense even was 🤣 other than trying to discredit witnesses, say things didnt happen, say he wasnt the driver, "did you hear a honk?" Maybe people should have not been in the way! 😡
The Jury has the power to nullify the state's case by finding him not guilty which didn't happen as he is guilty as sin! Too many eye witnesses AND surveillance cams 'nailed' him. Since Michigan no longer has the death penalty and Brooks had no defense, he had nothing to lose by defending himself and claiming his rights were violated so the Judge made sure she gave him enough rope to hang himself. lol He will not prevail on any of his appeals as no Judge who looks 'at the record' in this case would find any error of fact nor any violation of Constitutional rights. The only way Brooks will leave prison is in a body bag. I hope the people of Michigan work with their Legislators to get the death penalty reinstated for mass murderers like Brooks. I'm positive that if he was facing the death penalty v life in prison w/o parole, he would have had the public defenders' office represent him and try to get LIFE v Death that he deserves!
*Darrel Brooks addressing the jury* "The state wants to keep this information from u, but the fact is, you all have the power to release me!!" Jurors: 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
@@marymeow9802 I *think* part of his line of questioning (especially the police officers and detectives) about *WHEN* they wrote their reports and other questions he asked he was REALLY trying to get them to say that they had seen the reports that he was a massive racist and anti semite and that this was a hate crime in some way to try and say to the jury that they were biased against him. Never mind the fact that it would’ve brought in that evidence (the lyrics on his music video) that would have shown to the jury this might have possibly been racially motivated. He either understood this or the notes he had told him not to do that as it would’ve been akin to just saying he’s guilty as sin.
Twas a glorious thing to witness! All that faux bravado…whoops, down the drain! Looked like a 5 yr old who just had his lollipop taken away. But he’ll have something else to suck on soon enough.
I have great respect for this judge. She displayed superhuman patience when dealing with delusional darrell's pathetic attempts to instruct her on the law.She deserves a long vacation on a tropical island after this ordeal.
It amazes me that he had 0 clue that the JUDGE 👩⚖️ would be who decided his sentence, not the jury lol 😂. All his disrespectful behavior toward her got him 100 years. Then I think his closing argument, arguments with the judge on this day got him the other 900 😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It was so wonderful to watch judge throw the library at him yesterday. It was a slow..painful kill. Methodical. She was ready for his every move…everywhere word. Then a beautiful BOOM!
He kept saying the Jury has the right to nullify laws. Well if that is true perhaps the jury could nullify the repeal of the death penalty. I think the saying the “patience of Job” as an example of unending patience. Should be change to “the patience of Judge Darow”. She is amazing.
Brooks seems to think "having the power" is the same as "having the right". Brooks had the power to run the SUV through the parade, killing 6 and injuring 60+, but he didn't have the right to do it.
He expected her title as “public servant” to mean his personal slave he can say/e he feels like he wants to say w/ no regards for others. He really should have kept his attorney and he could have possibly gotten out when he was 80 or 90. D. Brooks is such an atrocious individual that got what he deserved. He obviously missed that day in pre-school that everyone attended where you learn manners and common courtesy. Why does he want to cause a circus of his trial.
I used jury nullification in 2006, I was a juror on a theft case and voted not guilty based soely on jury nullification. A man was arrested for stealing 2 cans of baby formula, he was an unemployed single dad. I was aware of jury nullification long before the trial, during jury deliberations I didn't tell my fellow jurors or the judge I was voting based on jury nullification (I wasn't required to). I simply voted not guilty with no discussion or explanation given to the other jurors. The man had confessed to the theft when he was questioned by the police. Because he confessed, the jurors thought they were legally obligated to vote guilty. Everyone voted guilty but me.... they tried to convince me but I stayed quiet and kept saying not guilty. No law shall exist that prevents a parent from feeding their hungry child. When your child is crying and starving, a parent has a RIGHT and a moral obligation to beg, borrow, or steal to protect the life of their child.
@@gamers7800 if he was on this jury he would have found him guilty. This type of case the commenter is talking about is literally what jury nullification is for… he did this for moral reasons.
Brooks is Satan's Seed to the 9s and if the people of Waukesha didn't know evil before 11-21-21, I hope they do now and reinstate the death penalty for mass murderers like Brooks. If Michigan had not banned the death penalty, Brooks would have wanted the public defender's office to fight for LIVE v DEATH and we would have been spared his courtroom antics for a trial he was ABEL to drag out for 4 weeks in a slam dunk case for the prosecution with so many eye witnesses and victims plus surveillance cams to prove his guilty w/o a shadow of doubt. He dragged it out because it was far more beneficial for him to be 'the accused' in jail v guilty in prison.
Some 76 charges, with a decision in about 3+ hours. I read somewhere that it was approximately 3 minutes per charge, which was barely time to read the full charge. The jury knew EXACTLY what it was doing, which I am sure reassured the entire community
I’d try so hard to do my civic duty but honestly, by around now or even the day before I’d be in chambers “I’m really sorry your honor I tried. I know I stood up there that day and promised I’d be impartial but I just can’t any more. I’m not going to be able to give this defendant a fair shake. I go back to the hotel at night and think about his voice and it makes me angry. Please sub in an alternate. You’re a better person than I.”
@@elizabethperry2622 I thought the same thing I would be begging to get off that jury . I’d have to tell her I’ve been watching the news and discussing the case so she’d throw me off !!
During a " monitored " Jail phone conversation with his Mother this character told his Mother that his plan was to interrupt and delay the proceedings as much as he can. Bottom line, all he was doing was attempting to delay the inevitable.
as it is far better for him to be the 'accused' in jail v the convicted in prison. Bring back the death penalty and he would have gladly had the public defender's office fight for LIFE w/o parole v Death row until execution.
A jury would possibly nullify if they think the defendant should not be punished for wrongdoing, Like stealing a potato to feed your children, this idiot killed and injured people and he thinks the jury would be willing to nullify. What a fool.
He's still arguing subject matter jurisdiction since day 1 after she gave him a written statement denying it and actually telling him what it is and why it's not relative so he's now claiming he did not receive it since he does not accept it when it has zero relevance. There's not even any such thing as a tacid agreement or lawful law. And nullification is not used in a murder trial and even nullification can be revoked and is used for drug convictions where the people feel the punishment/ sentence isn't correct for the defendant.
Imagine having this disruption in a class. Remember this person has even studied law. Judge Jennifer Dorrow is an extremely professional and patience with a totally disrespectful person with such a low IQ
That tie on him is really tight. It needs to be a bit more tighter, just to let him remember he has the right to shut his mouth, even when he has no ability to stop.
What he wants is to tell his witness jury they have the power to be on his side he finding a way to get off a murder conviction creepy disgusting man .what about those poor people that died omg I might be wrong but that's what I see.
In a way I am so happy that he argued the jury nullification, because the jury definitely listened and look at what they did in the end. GUILTY ON ALL CHARGES.
This reminds me of the many situations when Matlock asked the judge if a ruling was lawful law and the judge said "No, it's not lawful law. You caught me. This case is dismissed."
He could have argued jury nullification until he passed out but I can imagine after they saw the videos of him in the car plowing through people…it wasn’t going to happen. At this point, even he knew it was over…he was stalling being accountable. It’s classic narcissism.
Always the victim. Send him next door and do not allow him to have closing argument. She gives him way too much Leeway! He thinks he is the judge. He does not listen to the rules.
She was never in legislation. She was in litigation. He is a joke. Also, he really thinks that he can make the jury feel sorry for him so that they will nullify. The jury wanted to see him pay.
