To add reverb and delay to a track in a mix, you typically use separate aux sends and tracks.
However, in his latest Puremix video, Darrell Thorp demonstrates an alternative method by chaining a delay and reverb in series on a single aux track, powered by one send from the vocal track.
He applied this technique for the ethereal-sounding vocals on Beck's "Morning Phase" album. Darrell calls this configuration “Delay Verb.”
