Yeah, that girl Angel is soooo annoying!!! She commented the same thing with regine's i dont wanna miss a thing. Thank you for your comments. When you guys said though, "it... lacked personality", I also kind of asked myself: 'Shouldn't you guys listen to the song first of the original singer'? You guys said, you didn't know the song, so I felt, how can you comment when you didn't even know the song in the first place? Actually the ending of that song was not like that if you listen to the original. I also think that he's very connected and into it when singing this. You only have to look at his expression and sound. Also Its not that he puts in more effort because i think chandelier is really a lot harder..the only reason why this song seem harder is because his version IS harder. Darren is still one of my favorites but no one can beat Charice when it comes to covering a song to stage performance. Mostly classics songs that are very hard to cover. She's one of the best vocalist in this generation in my opinion. Her voice is just perfection not to mention the clarity and emotions she put into a song. Her highs and low are both amazing just like Darren. Goose bumps every time I hear them sing.

MJ JACKSON Yes Charice is a very good singer...i like her too...but the difference is that..Darren is a male singer...and charice is female...it is pretty obvious that female singers can cover feminine songs effortlessly...but man Darren is a male and a teenager...but he can sang it too just like wat other female singers do...

Well I do agree with the lady's opinion. Remember what Sarah G. said to darren, it's the same comment as this lady. Darren needs to connect with the song and express the emotion of the song. It's the only lacking because his voice is already gold! And I love the fact that Darren enjoys singing every song. You can feel it from him.
