Yeah the comments section was turned off for a number of years as the person below said. I saw him do this track live taking on this persona as he did it. I was so moved. It was so so incredible to witness. That night I made a friend who I've known for a decade now. Truly outstanding.

Bloody hell I forgot all about this song until today. I remember seeing him perform live in Manchester 2012 and then him taking the clown make up off singing ‘I don’t know you anymore’ and it was so powerful. Darren you are a true artist. After a year of my last comment, I’m writing again about this song that I have an addiction to. We must admit that Darren is a genius, he’s so charming, very charismatic but unfortunately so underrated. His music from Savage Garden to his solos then now approve that he’s a true artist that deserves to be more and better recognized in the world of music ❤

I also think it's not his fault. He grew up in a toxic enviorment, people arround him were confusing his mind by influencing him admit he is gay ("on the wrong side of love") making him feel like an "impostor" in his own life (his marriage, his music). Poor guy, deep down inside he still misses that girl his first wife. I think with this song he is expressing the pain, the sufference and the struggles he went through. May God help him find that emotional peace he needs so much and focus on his music.
