I interviewed Nicole Scherzinger on the red carpet at the Pride of Britain awards where Malala Yousafzai was receiving an award for her courage and bravery. Nicole wasn't exactly sure what I was asking. Super awward!
She's a singer, she doesn't have to keep up with politics or important people if she doesn't want to or care to. not really cringe. I'm sure if you interviewed paris hilton or snooki or someone from the hills you'd get a similar answer.
That look on her face when he spoke to her. I know it all too well. It's the "please don't talk to me... please don't talk to me... please don't talk to me... please don't ta-- Hi!" face.
i don't think she really needs to care much about it. i had hoped you weren't actually expecting an insightful response, because you definitely asked the wrong person.
i would agree with you if this was the oscars red carpet and these questions were being asked but she did not even know the purpose of the event she was attending which to me is shocking and really made me cringe
She seems a little shaken by something which clearly had nothing to do with this interview. She didn't handle the interview super-well but it really wasn't that terrible either - just nasty, bitchy people making something out of very little.
What does the fact she's from another country has to do with anything? This story made the news all over the world. Malala was nominated for a Nobel prize for God's sake. Also I doubt that she's so busy that she can't take 5 minutes to follow the news on a tablet or a phone.
So much hateful comments here... Why you even care if she wasn't able to answer the question properly... There's no even right or wrong answer to that question, in fact she's not on the pageant to being judge by you... She's human not perfect, but when she performs she owns the stage.
Well if you went to another country would you look on the news for your own country or the country you just pass through now and again. Are you sure, even North Korea ? You don't know her life alot of "celebs" don't at all.
Is she from North Korea? And nope, I think it's only you (and Nicole apparently) who only check for your country's news. It's 2013, people can and should be aware of what's going on outside. Also she was at an event celebrating personalities who made the year. It's total bs that she didn't made researches about them. She has no excuse.
Let's not act as if a quick 10 minutes wikipedia reading during her makeup session was impossible. I mean she didn't even know if Malala was alive! And she was at an event honoring her! Come on. I don't even get why you feel the need to defend the fact that she's a idiot by saying that the world is full of idiots. What kind of lame excuse is that? But whatever she can do whatever she wants and I can make fun of her if I want to. That's what you get for being a public figure. I'm done.
