Nidge was a massive villain, who tricked most of us with his goofiness in the first few episodes. Oddly enough rewatching the first episode with him playing a game on his phone, in the room with Robbie was a clue.
i dunno about the song when he actually shoots him, but the end scene with stumpy dead on the ground and the forensic people taking all the photos is by Luke Kelly- come my little son dunno if that helps...
