Abul Kalam Azad, in his commentary, Tarjmanul-Quran, has preferred the first meaning and opined that it is the same place which has been called Rekem in the Bible (Joshua, 18: 27). Then he identifies it with the ancient historical city of Petra.

Always use name Rabbi or Rabbana whenever direct talking to Allah Rabbul Alameen or asking Dua from Allah Rabbul Alameen. No Other name. Neither Allah nor other name but only Rabbi ( My Lord) or Rabbana ( Our Lord). Each every Dua in Quran is with only name Rabb.....
