Imagine something along the lines, that you get to choose your missions in Vader's own Star Destroyer, then a few special missions from Sidious him-self with a few minor missions from high ranking Imperial Officers. Man, to also be able to choose which planet to go to, and also the hall-way fights.
You can't hide in random out of place human size containers from Darth Vader and hope for him to just walk away, he got a fucking force bead on your ass, ima retcon that Kenobi shit just fucking with 'em because that was ASS
A lot of people are saying Vader is nerfed here but I really don’t think he is. Vader has a habit of underestimating his opponents. While he is very powerful, one has to remember that Cere is a Jedi master. A master that survived order 66 so she is powerful as well as resourceful. I’m not saying she should have won, but it would have been a bit odd if Vader was able to just steamroll her. She wasn’t just some padawan or knight and the fact that Vader himself went instead of some inquisitor shows how the fight was more evenly matched than one might initially think.
He knows Cere would take down any inquisitor I’m pretty sure even Cal is stronger than every inquisitor at this point in the game too. The only inquisitor left who could be stronger than Second Sister is the grand inquisitor and Cal has grown a lot in the 5 years since Fallen Order
@@DudeCrazy198 While true, that doesn’t account for the fact that Vader is several tiers above people like the Grand Inquisitor. He may have quite literally taken a dip in hell, but he’s still one of the most powerful beings in the galaxy, second (arguably) only to the Emperor.
I want a game mode with a short story section or even a game where we can just be Vader and we start right after Mustafar. Vader was learning his suit and still had a couple challenges just to regain his master's respect and position as his apprentice. We wouldnt have to be OP all game
At 4:50, when Darth Vader emerges from the blaze, I half-expected him to say something like "Now, _that_ brought back memories." You know, being left burning to death and all that.
ARGHHA YOU'VE TAKEN EVERYTHING FROM ME Vader: your feelings for her are not real Galen: THEY ARE REAL TO ME !!!ARGHGA I'LL KILL YOU !! Vader: her death gives you strength embrace it I WILL KILL YOU!!!
Vader will not lose so easily. Especially to a Jedi who doesn’t measure up to him in terms of power in the force. Yes, she did well and stood her ground. But Vader holds back a lot. Defeat was inevitable.
This was my favorite part of Jedi Survivor, I had thought after seeing some thumbnails that he was the final boss but it was Bode, I thought they could have expanded the story waaaaaay more.
6:30 the fact that Vader hit the perfect lean for us to realize our failure and how cere watches him leave is perfect combination for us to feel despair and satisfaction all at once
honestly goes to show how Vader despite being OP and literally the chosen one has that massive handicap crutch being his life support suit. Dude literally walks around with glass armor and still tanks the massive pieces of rock thrown on him
No problem, he'll take a bit in the bacta tank after that, up until Third Sister Reva contacts him about Kenobi in just a few days or a week later after these events :D
I hate boss fights like this where you know you can’t win. Especially if it takes you a bunch of tries. You’re relieved until you realize that Cere is dead. Though she never stood a chance. Vader is a bad ass in the darkest way.
I wasn't the biggest fan of this either. I was thinking it'd be some inquisitor or such. but the moment it was revealed to be vader I pretty much was thinking 'okay well we know how this ends. can I just skip and save myself a pointless time sink?'
Damn this game really shows how big Vader really is. I know he’s supposed to be big but god damn he is huge. Should call him Darth Angus cuz thats a lotta beef!
@@melvinschade I have very mixed opinions on Disney Star Wars. Particularly, I hate The Last Jedi and blame it largely for The Rise of Skywalker having very limited potential. I like some of Ahsoka, but that particular scene with Sabine is the opposite of an example. I'm fine with characters surviving serious injuries because that's something that has been established to be possible. Anakin was able to sustained severe burns on Mustafar and was left to die before Palpatine arrived to save him, with Anakin's rage being only thing keeping him alive long enough to be transformed into Darth Vader. Luke was seriously injured twice in Empire Strikes back and recovered both times. I prefer when there's weight to the injuries and/or recovery from those injuries. In Kenobi, the characters that survive injuries still have weight on being injured and returning. Reva was recruited because she awakened strength in the Dark Side after her encounter with Anakin at the Jedi Temple. The Grand Inquisitor returning revealed that Vader was always steps ahead of Reva, and contributed to Reva shifting to targeting Luke because he was weaker and her plan to betray Vader was always doomed to fail. Reva being left to die a second time both represented Vader leaving her exactly as he'd found her and demonstrated that her actions had changed nothing. Both of them were still the same as when they started hunting Kenobi, while Obi Wan started weakened and he rediscovers his strength through being confronted by Vader. When Sabine got stabbed, gets medical treatment, and moves on. I don't like it because the event doesn't feel like it has a lot of weight and Sabine not using the Dark Side makes it somewhat less plausible that she would have survived, but pushing my suspension of disbelief is still small in comparison to my issues with other things Disney Star Wars has done.
Thanks Disney for that they made lightsaber much less deadly it started in TFA where both Finn and Kylo were hit by lightsaber and they were almost 100% fine.
You guys have got to stop glazing Vader like seriously He while intimidating is very arrogant and susceptible to Jedi precision the Jedi are elite trained Cere is a Jedi Master He has had trouble with Jedi masters for a reason
@@BlkBstrRvwsDotEXE She is a former Jedi Knight, she never attained the rank of Master. Moreover, even as a Jedi Knight, Anakin Skywalker was already more powerful in combat than most of the masters of the order. Even among those who specialized in combat; e.g. battlemaster Cin Drallig, whom Anakin killed with only mild difficulty. Even half of the members of the Jedi Council would only put up a mild challenge to Anakin Skywalker. With Yoda, Windu, and Kenobi being the only ones who could beat him outright. Maybe Plo Koon, Shaak Ti, Ki-Adi Mundi could put up a fight. But thats it. And Cere Junda is no where near Mace Windu in skill or power. But this isn't Anakin, this is Vader. An even deadlier opponent. The sheer command of the force Vader possesses is enough to ragdoll someone at Cere Junda's level.
@@BlkBstrRvwsDotEXE There are Jedi who can beat Vader. Windu probably being one of them. Yoda could beat Vader. Peak Jedi Revan could beat Vader. Vodo Siosk Baas could do it. Peak Meetra Surik would probably put up a good fight. So would Satele and Bastila Shan. The former of which went toe to toe with Malgus before she was at the peak of her power. And I'd put Malgus over Vader. But Cere Junda is not one of these Jedi. Far from it. Only the most legendary Jedi of their eras would stand a chance.
He does not struggle do you know how many Jedi masters he hunted down and killed ? Vader just gets a kick out of toying around with them , he’s lives of the pain they inflict on him it’s like a drug that makes him a brute
After he got crushed by the bookshelf he you can tell he started taking the fight seriously. He aint nerfed Cere was just that bish lol he nearly got betten by her and got beaten by Obi-Wan in the same year.
I have no idea how vader will be handled in the next game Will he be used at all? This game is canon so it wouldn't make sense for Cal to actually kill him
Cal couldn't kill him. Cal couldn't even beat Cere probably. For all the advancement he made in this game, all the various combat techniques, Vader would still dominate.
Cal is honestly likely to not die to Vader-he’s too likable and a cash cow, so probably his fate will be natural causes, or dying by the emperors hand.
@@Radb707Cal has already beaten a Gen Dai who murdered High Republic Jedi, which is incredibly impressive,Dagan Gera another Jedi Master from the High Republic at 21 and killed multiple Inquisitors
@@Radb707Cal at 28 will be jjst as powerful and most importantly knowledgeable as Obi Wan Power is nonsense vs Knowledge of power Thats why Obi Wan outdoes Vader knowledge technique
Vader fanboys have no knowledge of this series Cere Junda is a Jedi Master not a Padawan Obi Cere Yoda Windu etc. are top of the Line because they are MASTERS they know all the forms, years of extensive training with the Force more years than Anakin Skywalker you do know Cere is older than Anakin? Has had more years and experience? She trained multiple STUDENTS ffs Yes Jedi Masters are HARD ASF to KILL Jaro Tapal took out half a ship of Troopers, the skilled ones) on a sneak attack Ahsoka isnt even to Ceres level and look how she survived
@MINOTAUR11 yeah but he also came after luke and only ever activated his lightsaber to toy with him. Vader shouldnt need to rely on his lightsaber to obliterate on puny jedi.
@@amitypredator9385 yeah we could argue about that but i think ill leave it at saying that vader would be much more badass if he showed up with neither health bar nor lightsaber.
@@BlkBstrRvwsDotEXEAfter Disney forgot what power scaling was yeah… The fact of the matter is, he should never have lost to Kenobi a second time, nor should he have struggled this much Cere who was never even a Jedi high council member lol
vader gets punked in every video game or tv appearance he makes. it all started with the force unleashed. kind of a played out trope at this point. you can be a pretty low level force wielder and still go a few rounds with him. if anything all these video game and mini series appearances just ruin his image and make out to be nothing more than weakling
What are you talking about? In the Force Unleash not only are you playing and extremely OP character but it's also not canon so they can do almost anything with the character lol. As for this game, he is by no means, portrayed as a weakling. In the first game he didn't even had a health bar due to how extremely powerful he was. In this game, the only reason he has a health bar is bc you are using Cere, a Jedi Master, to fight him, and you still lose the fight regardless💀. Vader is indeed a formidable opponent but he is still a human with flaws lol. Y'all act as if Vader is just unstoppable and can't be touched by anyone but that is just stupid. Vader still makes mistakes and has flaws, so y'all should just stop acting as if he should be untouchable. Also, in this game he didn't looked as a weakling at all, th only way you actually hurt him is cause you took him by surprise with the debris lol but other than that Vader was dominating the entire fight. I doubt weaklings would be able to dominate in fights.
The fact that the player's attacks just go right through him and he barely blocks looks awful. Tons of other star wars games done much better looking boss fights.
Vader isn't scary when he walks out of the darkness in movies and games my first thought is always that this character will go down standing against vader
