Mans did a whole detailed face just to use 20% of it, what dedication Woops just learned this has a mess of likes thank y'all (and yes, nice statue regardless 👍)
If you watch closely, Anakin tried to do what Obi-wan did when he defeated Darth Maul. Obi-wan knew how to counter attack that move that’s why he told Anakin it was over. Pretty cool detail I only just learned about.
This is definitely one of your best sculptures! These videos are always so satisfying! It's so awesome to see these beautiful busts coming together. You are so underrated. Hope you can hit 2 mil soon. Keep up the great work!
@@FrameworksPhoto lol "longer". It has several distinctive features because it's so heavily stylized, just like the whole show is. I thought it was pretty obvious he made the bust to look like a live-action version in this video. Or, rather imagine the shattered helmet look as how it would appear in live-action.

Incredible work, I was adding up the cost of the materials alone in this project...wow it's in no way a cheap build and that's not including the labor costs that also massive. No wonder why CGI can get a lever against this work now in the film industry.
@@littlebacchus216 Same, that’s was cool! I’m curious what plastic works well with dye, because I’ve tried that before and it looked blotchy and horrible and I ended up using window tint instead…
I would actually love to see you sculpt the Doom guys helmet with a similar technique like the one in your Mr. Freeze video. I’m sorry that I posted this same question under a couple of your last videos, I just would love to see it.
@@samphonemorton6291 no this was from rebels. In the Kenobi series, Vader's helmet gets damaged in the left hand side while in the Rebels series it gets damaged on the right hand side.
I started this sculpture well before the show premiered. I don't know why, but this project dragged on way too long. If I'd started it later, I probably would have damaged the other side of his helmet. lol
I watched every episode of the old SciFi channel show "Face Off" and I was disappointed that it went off the air. Watching you work satisfies seeing that type of creativity in action. Amazing work and dedication.
I don't even know how to explain how cool this is. When zoning out watching it, I legit thought I was looking at photo stills from the show/movies at the end. This is so perfect.
Excellent work as always and I particularly like the shot of the helmet 3D printing from above, makes me think that in the SW Universe that's how they would have made Vader' actual helmet/head covering. Also as a side note, Vader's eye coverings were deep Red at the point of A New Hope/Rogue One and including in Rebels before those events. They change to black in Empire and Return.
I've always assumed the red lenses were a practical thing for Prowse to be able to see and that we were never meant to see his eyes through them. It was just a mistake. I always assumed that in universe he had no actual eye holes and those lenses were the cameras he used to build an internal 3D display. Visible eyes are just the limits of film tech at the time. Also, if we were to ever see the making of the helmet it would be smelted out of molten metal, not 3D printed. I feel this part of the sculpture is totally cheating. The helmet should have been hand sculpted as well. The only work the sculptor did here was make a face to go inside the helmet and a copy of something his computer made. Not belittling the sculpting, but the computer assist was straight out cheating
@@johnpeace971 I mean, in every appearance except for Kenobi, Pre-ESB/Post-ROTS Vader has had red lenses, in Rebels, CW Season 7, Rogue One, and ANH. Safe to say that he did, canonically, have red lenses until ESB

Man most people saw a 7 minute video I saw at minimum 7 years of dedication to your craft. You are truly talented in many ways my friend. May the force stay strong with this one hmmm. Great job man!
I always loved this scene in Rebels and have always been curious to see what it would look like with the live action helmet, this video satisfied my curiosity! Awesome work!
Since you have everything, you should do both versions of this look! The one from Rebels, where Ahsoka sees him, and Kenobi where the opposite side gets cut open. It would be pretty cool to have both and it would show off the hard work you sculpted that got hidden away!
OMG I can’t get over the talent at making everything!! Absolutely fantastic!! Is there any chance you can make a 1978 Laurie Strode and Michael Myers in Lindsey’s dark scary house?🎃
